Hi everyone! Tonites post is for the LOTV Birthday challenge which also enters you into the chance of a guest dt spot. This would be a dream come true for me as I can't think of a single image I don't like from them.

I have used Cake Glorious Cake for my image, she is colored with copics and a little bit of chalk pencil for some shading. Some stickles on her wings and Viva Decor pen for the icing. Flowers are WOC and the papers are again, from the stash I am working my way thru. Okay, wish me luck and hope everyone has a great weekend!

Another Stamping Bella peak!

Hi everyone! How is your week going so far? I am hoping for perhaps a little warmer weather and we are going to the Pittsburgh Home and Garden show this weekend so that is always fun. Today I am showing you another new release for Stamping Bella and this is also by Diane Duda.

As soon as I saw this cute smiling face and the sentiment I knew I HAD to have this image. I have paper pieced her dress but was a little heavy handed with the distress ink on her pockets, you can't really see the floral design very well anymore but I still like it, sorta vintage looking. Okay, make sure you check out the other bella babes to get a look at some other new images and come back friday for our banners challenge, I have one more sneak peak for you!

New release at Stamping Bellas!

How is everyone today? Are you excited to see the new release and who the new artist is at Stamping Bella's? Well, today the Bella babes are giving you some sneak peeks for the upcoming release this friday and here is one of my images, I will post the other tomorrow just to keep you in suspense haha!

Our newest artist is Diane Duda and she has the most whimsical, sweet little girl images evah! I have kept the card simple as I think this image lends itself to that. Some text paper background, a little colored in sky and some sprinkled flowers in the corner. How cute is that? Okay, don't forget about our biweekly SCS challenges and our weekly challenges every Friday, this week is to use banners on your card. So lots of ways to win bella bucks!

My parents Anniversary card

Good morning, I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. This week is my parents 59th wedding anniversary and I have made a card up for them as the family is taking them out to dinner tonite. Families, gotta love them is all I can say!

This image is by Sylvia Zet and is one of her latest releases. 

I have colored them with copics and the paper is from my friend Elaine, I wanted to use the Pion papers she sent me but too much of the pretty parts would have been hidden so I chose to go with more of an allover design for the dp. Flowers are woc and a Recollections rose and although the leaves appear almost black in the photo, they are a beautiful deep green velvet irl. I have added a pearl border along the bottom of the image and their names and wedding date onto my heart embellishment. Okay, make sure you check back tomorrow, we are gonna be showing you some sneak peeks of the new Stamping Bella release! I am entering this card for my chance to be a guest designer for the Whimsy Stamps April release, I love their images and their dies are the best out there. Those little tabs on the sentiment dies make it so easy to line things up, love it!

Fussy cut your image!

Woot woot it is Saturday! Well, I am working but still excited! This week at Kraftin Kimmie's we have the most AMAZING hostess, yep, that would be me!  Hahahaha! Anyways, I love seeing all the fussy cutting going nowadays and chose this as my challenge so get those scissors out! 

I have used Priya for my image, when I fussy cut I tend to stay away from images with little tiny pieces to cut around so she seemed perfect. I seem to have messed up her hair though, the more I fussed with that little bit the worse it looked, so don't look there! And yes, I am aware that is where every single one of you is looking now! Hey, if I can't share my mistakes with you guys, who can I share them with?

Papers are some older Basic Grey, my flourish is Cheery Lynn and the background die was a gift from my friend Elaine. I have applied some Elderberry Memento ink to the center of the die for a little pop of color. Ok, make sure you check out the Frugal Friday specials for this week too!

Sketch time at Stamping Bella's!

Hello everyone! Back again with another Stamping Bella card and using one of my fav Mo Manning for Stamping  Bella images, Sprout, which again, is currently out of stock. I swear it was just there but with the big sales Emily has had lately, stamps go fast, especially one as cute as this! Our challenge this week was a sketch and here is my take on it.

She is colored with copics, Shinhan touch twin markers and prisma pencils for some additional shading. I really love this color combo, nice and bright! Paper are again, old ones from my stack I am trying to work thru and the flowers are prima hydrangeas with pearl centers from WOC. Ok, next week we would like to have you use a banner on your card, there are so many options out there for banners it should get your creative juices flowing!

Sparkle and Bling for Stamping Bella

Good Morning everyone! Here is my latest card for Stamping Bella and unfortunately, I believe she is currently out of stock. Emily has a new release coming up though and trust me, you are gonna LOVE them! This is "Lulu with 2 Pies" and once again, she seems to be out of stock. I tell you, these images fly out the door so if you see something you want you better grab it quick!

We have a new challenge going on at SCS (details below) and we would like to see "Sparkle and Bling" on your card. I have added some gold Glamour Dust around the edges and orange spica pen on the flowers on her dress. There are also rhinestones behind my flower cluster. Papers are Graphic 45.

Sugar Nellie guest designer!

Hey everyone, I have a new little badge in my sidebar cause I am, wait for it....one of the new Sugar Nellie guest designers! Woot woot! I have to say, this past year has been a roller coaster for me but a tremendous one when it comes to my little cardmaking hobby. Today I am showing you one of the images I really fell in love with, "Anne of Green Gables". Now I admit, I haven't actually read the book (I know, shame on me) but the image is so sweet.

Papers are Soho Garden by American Crafts and the lace is from my buddy across the sea, Alyce. A couple of resin flowers for accent and some stickles around the image.

Bellarific Friday is here!

Good morning everyone! If you are looking for my Kraftin Kimmie post it is below this one.

This week the challenge at Stamping Bellas was as easy as they get, "Anything Goes" and I have used one of my favorite characters, Ramona. She is so easy and quick to color and just so darn cute!

This is Ramona Fishing with MME papers, the heart diecuts are Memory Box and I added a small bit of glamour dust around the image for a little glimmer. I also attempted to add some real string to her fishing line, not the best idea I ever had but too late to change it! Happy kraftin'!  I have picked out one of the bookworm Trinkets and made, what else, a bookmark! Now I have to say I received the nicest bookmark from my friend Jenny a couple of years ago and since I love it so much I based my bookmark on her design. 

I have cut two matching shapes out of cardstock, scored the back one about 1/3 of the way down and attached it to the front then added magnets to the inside. A few little gems so it isn't too bulky and all done!

Almost Valentines Day!

Good morning guys! Today I wanted to show you the other card I made for my friends daughters for Valentines Day. One daughter likes flowers and bling so that was the card I showed last week, her other daughter prefers things a little simpler so this is her card.

This is Catherine nibbling chocolate, one of the fabulous Uptown girls of coures. After I made it I wish I had done more of a black and pink scheme but I stuck that baby down with extra strong adhesive so it wasn't budging! I did add some pink cardstock to the back of my doily to make it pop a bit more. Ok, time to get back to work and have you played along with our challenge yet this week? It is an easy one, "Anything Goes" and Emily just had a new release to spend those bella bucks on if you win!

Bellarific Friday!

This is my second post for today, if you are looking for the MIC blog hop it is below this one. This weeks challenge for Stamping Bella was a sketch and I really liked this one, will definitely be going in my stack!

I have used Ramona and her Wagon today and one of my fav color combos, yellow and red.

I believe these papers are older MME (I am really trying to use my older papers up!) and the lace was a gift from my friend Lisa, isn't it pretty? I thought it was perfect for this card and so glad she thought enough of me to send it to me awhile ago. MIC Valentines day Blog hop!

Hey everyone, today is the Valentines hop for MIC and I am showing off a bit of a CAS card using Geeky Love, I just love this image! Hopefully you have arrived here from Bron's blog, she is a sweetie and I am sure her card is awesome!

Short but sweet

Hi everyone! Just a quick post from me today as I am a bit behind and need to get the ol butt moving this morning. I wanted to share a Valentines card I made for a friend to give to her daughter, I will show the other one to you next week. This daughter is all about the flowers and bling so that I chose Uptown Girl Lucille sends her love and colored all of the hearts in with glitter.

 Be warned if you do this it may warp your paper a bit and I had a heck of a time trying to get it to lay flat. Some flowers, a little lace (thanks Patty!) and a sentiment (thanks Elaine!) and she is good to go. Ok, don't forget about our challenge for this friday which is a sketch and our biweekly challenges on SCS.

Fur and Feathers are here!

Today is the final showcase of the new "Fur and Feathers" special edition stamps from Kraftin Kimmies and today is our blog hop which you can find below. The release is now available to purchase and is only available at the store by the way.

My card features one of my fav animals, a kitty cat. Of course if this was one of my cats I would be clawed like crazy at this point!

So glad it is Friday but I have a busy weekend coming up too so have a feeling I will be going non stop for the next week or so. Oh well, that is life at times right? Today it's time for another Stamping Bella challenge and our theme for the past week was "You're So Sweet" and here is my take. And check out the end of my post for some exciting info.

This is Ramona loves Cake and unfortunately, she seems to be out of stock right now. I know Emily is clearing out the store to make room for some new images so I am sure she will be getting in new rubbah soon. She is colored with copics and I used conte pencils for a smidge of shading, still getting use to them. And do you see that MIC chipboard I framed the image with? Can you guess what I painted it with, huh can ya? Nail Polish! Yep, had some glitter nail polish I wasn't using and thought I would give it a go, I am telling you, this is my new go to paint for chipboard! They even come with their own brush haha! Ok, this week we have a sketch for you to play along with.
