All right, ready to see some of the new images? You should have arrived here from Anita blog. Isn't her work just amazing!
My image is called Sledding Fun and I have used Merrymint paper by American Crafts along with a MS border punch and a big bow from some scrap ribbon I had. I colored up some clear gems to match the red in my paper and tried to glitter up the snow a bit. I love the look of new fallen snow, it really does look like glitter. Ok, next I am gonna send you off to our wonderful guest designer for June, Julie! And if you get lost along the  way, just pop back over to Ladybug crafts ink for a full list of everyone participating.

Sundae Bar challenge

Happy Sunday everyone! I am a bit worn out this morning, two graduation parties in 2 days plus the normal housework and my butt is dragging. Now I am getting ready to take my mom to breakfast, no rest for the weary! Todays challenge at Paper Sundaes is sponsored by Stamp and Create. I have not shopped there before but when I was looking around to pick out an image for today I have to say I am very impressed, lots to choose from!
Our challenge this week is to use at least two of the following, the color purple, gems, wings and paper pieRcing, not piecing. My image is by CC designs and the paper is basic grey, "Green at Heart". I did paper piece her dress although that is not required, just thought the paper looked cute, I have a purple gem swirl, a clear acrylic butterfly I colored with alcohol inks and a large die cut flower in the corner. Viva decor purple pen in the corners, a little stitching and there you have it. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Happy Early Birthday Mom and Elaine

Ok, well blogger seems to be having a fit today cause it wouldn't let me export photos into my blog. Took me forever and having to go thru Picasa to do this, anyone else having problems? My card today is for my mom's birthday which is tomorrow but I also want to wish my buddy Elaine a Happy Birthday too cause hers is also tomorrow. My image is a Sugar Nellie and that is in honor of Elaine who is a Sugar Sweetie (I think that is what they call themselves) and because it is the type of image my mom will love. I have to say she is pretty but I am not happy with the hair, is was too yellow, tried to tone it down with some browns but it only made it more golden and I was afraid to keep fussing. My mom was blond as a little girl so I didn't want to change it to entirely brown.

Posted by PicasaPaper is Madeline by Prima, WOC flowers except the blue rose which is Prima and has been glimmer misted. Lace from Elaine for my birthday and some butterflies I punched with a MS punch and then used platinum stickles on and some little rhinestones in the center. I am entering this into the Sugar Nellie challenge which is to use the provided sketch which I absolutely love. That is it from me today, busy busy busy you know!

Blog hop coming up!

Please scroll down for my TLT post. Thanks!

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads up that next week at Ladybug Crafts we are having a blog hop! Wasn't sure when we could let the cat out of the bag but I guess we got the go ahead.
So start thinking Christmas (yikes!) and check us out next week for all the latest releases!

Red hot Red!

Good morning everyone! First thing I want to remind everyone of Kerrys blog candy. She is adding stuff everyday and when she hits 200 followers someone is gonna win big! Her link is on the side so hop over and check her out, she makes me laugh everytime I visit. And today it is Tuesday which means a new challenge at Totally Ladybug Tuesday (and it is almost Wednesday which is my favorite day cause it means I am off!  The challenge Ladybug Crafts this week was chosen by Gaelle and  is to use red on your card. How hard is that? I LOVE red but my mojo was seriously missing due to working all weekend and the last 3 nights, so my brain is fried but I managed to make up a little sumpin sumpin.

The black polka dot paper I printed out on my computer and the yellow dp is from October Afternoon.
I am not wild about the felt flower but since I had already tried a ton of other embellishments and didn't like them either I went with it. I will say that the flower cut beautifully with the felt I got from LCI. If you are looking for a good quality felt that is the place to go, cuts like a dream, no little fibers that don't cut thru or shred. Love it! Alright everyone, your turn to join in for a chance to win a free stamp or be one of the top three and get to post a LCI challenge top pick banner on your blog.

Paper Sundaes SSS challenge

Happy Sunday everyone! I am probably already at work while you are reading this but my mind is on cards while I am driving I am sure! So if you see a little red Saturn VUE swerving around beware! Our challenge this week is hosted by Simon Says Stamp and the challenge is to make an easel card. I have never made one before but really like how it turned out but boy is it a bugger to photograph!
The metal piece on the base says Happy Birthday inside and it is fairly heavy so I figured it would hold up the main portion of the card pretty well. My mouse is colored mostly with prisma pencils cause I can't seem to do fur well with my copics but he is a little yellow in the center, need to practice fur more I guess. His sunflower is colored with copics and has a boatload of stickles in the center but boy is it pretty irl! Some more stickles on the butterfly, a handmade banner across the corner and some lace from my buddy Elaine. I am entering this card into the following challenges

Simon Says Stamp   Bingo
Scrapbook Sisters    Banners or bunting
Wee Memories  Celebration

Fathers Day card

What a gorgeous day out today, hope the weather wherever you might be is also lovely. It is about 75 degrees and sunny and I have all the windows and doors open, there is a light breeze blowing and life is good. I made a promise to myself before I did anything else I would get my dads Fathers Day card done so that is what took up most of my morning. My dad loves to garden and is always in a race to see what he can grow before anyone else so I thought the following image would be perfect for him.

The image is called Big Guy by mo manning, the papers are October Afternoon and he is colored with copics and prismacolor pencils for extra shading. The brads in the corner, that you can't read, say "dad". I have had them forever, they were from the clearance bin somewhere. Unfortunately I forgot to put them on before I taped it all down so you can see the back of them on the inside of the card but I know my dad won't care. I used the sketch from CPS this week so I am also going to enter my card there. Crossing my fingers cause MFT is the sponsor and I love their stuff. Enjoy the rest of your day!

LCI Its all about the numbers

Hello everyone! It is time for Totally Ladybug Tuesday again and the challenge this time is chosen by Tams and she would like to see you use numbers on your project. I used two images from LCI this week, Baby Baby and the Sentimental numbers set.
My papers are an older stack called The Sweet Shoppe by DCWV, an iridescent plastic sentiment and one of my favorite dies from MFT. I glittered the edge of the image and used the number 1 in the corner. I have no idea who I am going to give this card to, just glad it ain't me! Too old for this type of thing now! Ok, put your thinking caps on and show us your numbers!

Card positioning sketch submission

Beautiful weather here today although a little windy. I was able to get another card made and I am entering it into Card positioning sketch challenge 119.
This is one of the posie girls from stamping bella along with some prima papers and some WOC flowers. I added stickles to the center of the purple flowers and over the pink ones and I wish you could see the pink flowers, the stickles color I used (glam pink) looks lavender from the side but still has the pink undertone. So neat!

MFT at Paper Sundaes this week!

Good morning everyone! Today is the last day of my vacation and I have to say it has been wonderful having time off of work. I didn't get as much accomplished as I had planned but that is always the case. Back to the grindstone tomorrow!  Our challenge this week at Paper Sundaes this week is sponsored by My Favorite Things and is "girly girl". I LOVE this store! The pure innocence stamps and dies are awesome!

I have used a pure innocence called You're so tweet and added bling, pearls, lace and some flowered papers. If that ain't girly, I don't know what is! I have also used the sketch for the MFT challenge blog this week so I am gonna pop my card onto the challenge blog to boot.  Enjoy your week!

Here comes the rain!

Well, they have been calling for thunderstorms here for the past couple of days and we were lucky that it passed South of us but not today! It is raining cats and dogs at the moment and intelligent person that I am, I am posting on my computer during a storm. What can I say, I like to live on the wild side...NOT! My card today is using one of the previous stamps from lotv. I cannot wait until Tuesday, my greedy little fingers will be poised and ready to go and order me some of those cuties!

I used some colored pencil to deepen the shadows a bit and really like the effect, need to do it more often. A pin with some pearls and a bead on it and some filigree corners and she is all ready to go.
There is a little bit of sparkle underneath all of the letters on the saying also but it isn't showing in the picture. That is because when I stamped the sentiment it smeared a smidgen so I just went beneath each letter with a gel glitter pen and voila! instant showcasing of the sentiment. When life gives you lemons right? I am entering my card into the following challenges:
LOTV   Anything goes
Cute Card Thursday Pins and Pearls

A sketch for deconstructing Jen

Two postings in one day, what is the world coming too! So if you are looking for my Ladybugs challenge card please just hop down a bit. Well, as a few of you know, I have been on vacation for the past week and I have made practically no cards since I have been in cleaning/reorganizing mode. But today I promised I was gonna make some cards and the first one I wanted to do was a sketch for deconstructing Jen. I love her work, love the sketch (will use it frequently I am sure) and the prize is the last release for TGF. Doesn't get any better than that!

Posted by Picasa
My papers are scraps from my stash, a MS punch along the border, black grosgrain ribbon and some stickles on her hair bob and the corner flowers. Time to hop over now cause I think the challenge ends tonite. Nothing like waiting til the last minute!

Ladybug Tuesday- its a guy thing!

Good morning everyone! It is time for Totally Ladybug Tuesday again and the challenge this week, chosen by the wonderful Pami, is all about guys. I have used Policeman Jack today, I just love Jack, he has the cutest face. But I have to say I am glad he doesn't live on my street with that darn whistle!

This was a bit of a quick card for me as I have totally torn apart my craft room while I am off this week and I hate to work in a mess. It is about 75% put back together now or at least enough to make a card. Alright, your turn to color up something guy related and enter for  a chance to win a free stamp or be picked as one of the top three and be able to display our banner on your sidebar. Good luck!

WOJ sponsor for Paper Sundaes

Good morning everyone! Hope your Sunday is starting out well. I am on vacation this week so mine is doing just fine thank you very much! This week at Paper Sundaes our challenge is "sentimental" so you need to use a sentiment somewhere on your card. Our sponsor is Whiff of Joy and I have to say I have not used their stamps before but they are lovely. Alica was nice enough to stamp me a couple and this won't be the last time I color these images up. I also purchased a few digis from their online store so you just may see those soon too.
My card is 6.5 x 5 and I have used some lovely ribbon from my friend Elaine and also a Marianne die she sent me for my birthday. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the paper is Watercolor Bouquet by K and Company. It is just a gorgeous stack full of floral patterns. All colored with copics of course. I have used some spica pens on the flowers she is holding but you can't really see it well here and there is shimmerz (gold) on her wings. Phew, that was a lot of remembering for me. I am a year older now ya know! Ok, let's see you get sentimental!
