Uptown girls for a friend

Well, we are moving into Sunday evening and I managed to get several cards done this weekend, one for  a friend who is leaving my workplace so this is a good luck card for Karen.

Karen is a girly girl who likes wine and cats so I got the wine and girly part in there! And I finally gave in and cup up a sheet of this paper that I liked so much. I followed the sketch over at Stamping Bella for a chance to win some more of these girls, I just wish I was this thin... Hope everyone has a great week!

I am also entering this into the All That Scraps challenge.

Cute card, I really like the Stamping Bella images too. They are cute. I get your point about the legs, but as long as you don't have cankles, your good. Ha!

Hi Amanda, If I didn't know better I would think that your adorable skinny girls were a picture of the two of us. You with the lighter hair and me with the darker. lmbo... Oh well, skinny or not I think we're both just fine. I leave the skinny for those younger than me. They still need the chance to get the attention. lol....No, just horsing around. I love this card! Did you do all that stitching. Man oh man I wish I could sew on paper as good as I can on cloth. I had to come over and tell you that when Lucy isn't being photographed with my flash on her(which is most of th time as she is so dark it's hard to do otherwise) those are her regular eyes. Their always huge and so so beautiful. Of course like any Mom I am sure that I am very very biast. Hope you have a fantastic day my friend. I am sure that Karen is going to love her card. Hugs, Lisa
