Dots and spots

Good morning everyone! Today I am back with another card for the Mo Manning DP challenge and this time our lovely and sweet Mau is our hostess and would like to "spots or dots" on our cards.

I LOVE polka dots, I have polka dot pants, even polka dot shoes, peep toe to boot!

I have made this card for a friend who recently lost one of her dogs. She is such a good friend and Sweet Pea was lucky to have her as a mom. I just wanted her to know I was thinking of her. My image is called A friend is...and I thought it would be a nice image for her card. Papers are Beautiful Life by Echo Park and the flowers I made myself with my fabulous phlox dies by Memory Box. Tracy was my inspiration for this card, she makes such lovely flowers and great layouts. The sorry tags are MS punches I inked with a little Paris Dusk Memento ink.

Papers are Echo Park "Love Story" and the little ticket was in a package of Valentine themed embellishments from Alyce. I have added some glitter to the hearts she is blowing and die cut a couple of hearts out of some of the papers in the pack.

Lots of layers!

Happy Thursday my crafty friends! Although the past couple of months have had some very low moments for me I am happy to say my life is on an upswing. Why do you ask? Well, one secret I have to keep for a little bit longer but also, I am going to England to see my BFF! Whoop whoop! I have been planning this for almost a year now and it will be here before we know it. So nice to have something to look forward too this time of year.

Okay, so I suppose you are here to see my card for Mo's DP challenge huh? Well our super talented Franz (adore her work!) has asked us to use "lots of layers" this time. Easy for me, I usually have several, it is all the other embellishments I struggle with.

This is Rory, is she not the cutest thing you have seen in a long time? I love these bright colors too, I just can't seem to work with pastels very well. The hearts in the corner are chipboard that I covered with scor tape, sprinkled with glitter then covered with glossy accents. Papers are an older MME pad, and yes, I finally broke down and bought some new pads. I couldn't resist the new bright floral prints I saw! The sentiment is by Whimsy.

I love this little image of the parachuter, I always thought it would be fun to skydive!

Papers are MME and I paper pieced the parachute and her dress then shaded them with a little chalk pencil.

Let the Good Times Roll!

Welcome back to Day THREE of the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps JANUARY previews!!! We are back with a fabulous new Moonlight Whispers stamp set!! You'll love these two SASSY girls along with the FOUR fun sentiments!!

Oh my heavens do I love these images! I have used the car image today but wait til you see the Vespa, soooo cute!

I will list my copics at the end of the post if you would like to see them. Papers are sort of another mish mash, trying to be good and use up scraps. I have used a little bit of green pencil to highlight around the image, hmmm, guess I should have added some shading to the bottom of the tires too, it looks like she is driving thru the air! I have also used some glossy accents on the windshield to make it look like glass.

Someday your prince will come...

Welcome back to day TWO of our JANUARY Kraftin Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share ANOTHER supah cute new set by artist Cheryl Alger!! Here comes another one.....FAIRYTALES!!! We are sharing samples today featuring.......ONCE UPON A TIME 4!

I have used the Princess with a frog on my card today. I had to kiss several frogs to get my prince I tell ya!

Not super pleased with my pleats on this image but practice makes perfect right? I have again used a Christmas gift which is the green ribbon in the corner from the Ribbon Girl store (thanks Elaine!), it is a gorgeous deep lime green. Flowers are WOC and the sparkle on the ribbon is from my stash. I have added some pink inking around the edge and some clear stickles for a little bling. Copic list is at the bottom.

Something new!

Good morning everyone! Today is another challenge for us over at Mo's Digital Challenge blog and our hostess today is the lovely Anja, I love her cards, always so pretty! She would like us to use "Something New" for our card this week and I chose to use of the newly released images, this is Missing Tooth and I just loved her grin!

Papers are MME and I will list my copics below. There are some stickles on her skirt (darn photo never captures them) and I have paper pierced the edge of my card. I want to get some of the nesties that do the paper piercing but since I am on a "crafty spending halt" I chose to do it by hand and I am pretty pleased with it. Flowers are available at I am Roses and the lace was another Christmas gift (thanks Melanie).

Welcome to day ONE of our JANUARY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO supah cute new sets by artist Cheryl Alger!! You enjoyed last month's sets so much that we are continuing with a fabulous theme.....FAIRYTALES!!! We are sharing samples today featuring.......ONCE UPON A TIME 3 and ONCE UPON A TIME 4!

I have used Rapunzel in my card today and have added a tower for a bit of a design element, a little out of my comfort level but I'm trying!

Papers are an old Crate Paper pad, the flowers are Prima and the tower is from my silhouette that I colored up. I have added a list of my copics at the end of the post.

Lots of flowers!

Hi everyone! It's time for another challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge and the hostess this week is the amazing...ME! Bwahahaha! And I have an easy challenge for you, I want to see flowers on your project this week. I LOVE flowers and use them frequently along with flowered paper on almost every card I make. And with the freezing cold we have had this week, some flowers seem like a great idea.

This little cutie is Baby Fairy Bee and I have paired her with my fav color combo, black red and yellow. I have used  Riverbank Revels paper by Helz Cuppleditch, some lace from my friend Melanie, a La La Land fence die and my flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Wonderful Wednesdays start again!

Welcome to our first Wonderful Wednesday challenge for the year!! And as always....it's ANYTHING GOES!!

Your submission must use at least one Kraftin Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation (so you can't submit something you made last year...haha!), we'll have it up for TWO whole weeks (over the new release which is next week) and you can enter on this post until Tuesday, January 21st!! What do you think.....wanna WIN??...

I have used one of my favorite Cheryl Alger images, this is from her Somebunny loves you set and I just love this image. 

Papers are old Crate Paper I believe, I can't find where I set the rest of the pad and I will list my copics at the end if you would like to see them. When I colored the bunny I pounced my colorless blender all over him to add some texture. And since I have quite a few freckles myself, I gave Lexi some too!

Mama Mia! Stephanie sure knows how to throw me for a loop but it is good to challenge ourselves, right? I have used the Fabulous Frames 2 stamp set and heat embossed it with amethyst powder. Then I used a couple of die cuts (thanks Elaine!) for the edges and put a piece of cream paper for my backing just to add a little more definition.

Here we go again!

Happy 2014 everyone and time to start making some cards again! This week is another "Anything Goes" challenge at Mo's DP challenge blog and today I have used Fairy Needle. I have been wanting to color her for a bit so here was my chance!

I have even included a little spool in with my flower embellishment haha! Some gorgeous lace from my friend Elaine and a lovely butterfly from my friend Alyce finish it off.
