Evening everyone! Well, I missed another deadline for a challenge,( and by a week this time!) for the first Ladybug Crafts challenge. There was a sketch to follow and I think I followed it pretty well. Card came out pretty well except for that darn ribbon. It is the crinkle ribbon and it has no body to it. The colors are beautiful and that is why I chose it cause in real life the green matches the matting on the picture but here it looks kinda washed out and sad. I guess I will follow her example and have a drink to deal with it! Does anyone have any suggestions how to manage all the challenges going on out here? I tend to scribble on whatever paper is handy but apparently that isn't a very good system! Ok, Joe just walked in the door complaining about it being dark so early so I better get the other half fed.

Hi Amanda,
Yep it's so annoying when things look different on the photos than in real life, but with my legendary photography skills it happens to me a lot!
Love the card anyway regardless of the ribbon looking a wee bit pale, beautiful colours of green/brown/blue and I love those papers (I am still hoarding and not cutting into mine).
You go feed Joe then you can have a little drink yourself!
Take care
Love Elaine xx
Oh Amanda, you crack me up!! I think it's a FABBY card!! The colors are fantastic. Thanks so much for playing along in my TKT challenge! {{{hen hugs}}}
I think you had a drink before posting! LOL! This is fantastic...it doesn't look washed out, and you must remember these dark, dreary days must have something to do with our photos!

Congratulations on making LCI's Top 3! Your card is beautiful, and I am sure that you are entering more challenges than I am, but here's what I do: I email myself a reminder, and include the challenge's URL. Then I write it in my planner at the bottom (Gasp!) of my To Do list in my planner. The bottom is where I write the fun stuff I want to do after I get the Need To Do's pretty well polished off. I'm usually in just under the wire, and sometimes I don't make it at all, but I think this system works for me.
