This week our hostess is CHERYL!! And her challenge is VINTAGE CHRISTMAS!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that feat...ures a vintage feel.....use vintage papers, distressing, lace etc.!!! Sound fun??!! Join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin Kimmie rubber!!!

I have used one of my favorite alltime stamps, this is Clara and she is perfect for the vintage look.

Copics
Skin  E000-00-11  R20
Hair  E11-13-15-18
Scarf and overskirt  E42-43-44-47-49
Skirt  Shinhan   R5-3-2-1

I have also used one of the Winter Trinkets for my sentiment. My border is music paper I punched out with a circle punch then edged with some vintage photo DI and then platinum stickles and layered for this look. Kinda like it! I am also working on my pleats, practice makes perfect so you may be seeing more pleats here as I give them a go. Darn you Alyce for making them always look so wonderful! haha!

Hi Amanda, this card is just gorgeous. I love your border that you made. I have really gotten into using my dies or my punches to make things that they were not made for and I think you have hit the nail right on the head with this boarder. What a fun and rewarding idea. :O) I also think that you really must have been practicing on your pleats as your coloring is just wonderful and those pleats look so realistic. I really need and want to get back into more coloring, but for now I am doing other things that work out nice until my hands start to calm down and let me use them the way I want to. Hope you are having a great weekend and that your are warm. We are sitting at a whopping -3 at the moment! Oh well, thank God for an electric fire place. It really keeps the rooms nice and snuggley. Hugs Lisa
