Eat Cake Graphics good bye

Good morning everyone! Today I have two cards to post and they are my last ones for my dt position for Eat Cake Graphics. Holly has been extremely generous to all of the members and if you are looking for a laid back team with great images this would be the one for you. Both of my cards are winter related and although it is 90 degrees outside here, winter will be here before we know it.

I have used one of the new MS punch all over the page punches which is a snowflake to make the border strip on my cards. Colored with copics and Shinhan markers and always a touch of stickles, can't make a card without them! Alright, I hope everyone has a great week and I will be back on Friday with the new release from SCACD

In the doghouse for Mo Manning

Happy Sunday fellow bloggers! It is a muggy day here in Pennsylvania but I'm not complaining cause at least it isn't pouring rain again. Blech, enough of that already! Today I am posting another card for the DP2 Challenge dt guest position and the theme this week is "In the Doghouse".

I chose to use a winter theme stamp to try and get a little heads up on my holiday cards. This image is Skating and I have used some new DCWV papers, an old wooden sentiment stamp and a some Glamour Dust on her hat, muff and dotted around the image. I colored in her blades on her skates with my silver spica pen and added some prismacolor pencils and stickles onto the ice under their feet. Alright, this is the final attempt for a guest position with them so wish me luck and have an awesome day! Oh, and don't forget to check back on Friday for a new release from SCACD, very cute images!

Bright colors challenge!

Saturday again and time for another Kraftin Kimmie challenge and this week the lovely Pam is asking us to use the theme of summer or bright colors on our cards. Easy peesy for me as that is pretty much what I do!

I have no idea who these papers are from, I got them in a sampler pack a couple of years ago but love the pink and green combo. The image is Lulu from the Lulu on the Move set. Some matching ribbon from Prima, rhinestones around the edge and a couple of resin flowers to finish her off. Ok, make sure you play along this week for your chance to win the stamp Pam has on her card! And don't forget about the Frugal Friday specials, they are  Potionmaster, Angry Ballerina, Roxy, Butterflies Flutter By, Frank n' Kitty and Bookworm Jaime.

Hugs and Kisses challenge

Almost Monday but what a wonderful weekend I have had. Got up early yesterday and did some cleaning around the house, did laundry, got groceries and had time to play in my craft room. I was in the mood to play with some of my paper flowers after chatting about them with some friends and I wanted to enter the DP2 Challenge again to hopefully increase my chances of being offered a guest dt position. The challenge this week is "Hugs and Kisses" and what could symbolize that better than a baby and her teddy huh?

I tried to give the bear a little texture with the washcloth and colorless blender technique and really let the paper stand out rather than do my usual multiple layers. I did add some flowers and a butterfly cause all little girls look better surrounded by flowers. Alright, hope everyone has a wonderful week and I will see you back here on Wednesday for a blog hop I am participating in.

CMC challenge

Hi everyone! Today Kraftin Kimmie is sponsoring the Color Me Creative challenge and have an easy challenge this week, "Anything goes with a girly twist". Well, that  is just about most cards I make!

This image is from the new Birthday Lulu set just released at Kimmie's. I have added some handmade flowers, some ribbon and a little charm with some flowers on it. A resin flower on my bow and some pearls in the corner finish it off. Ok, make sure you join in for your chance to win!

In stitches!

Happy weekend everyone! First of all, I want to welcome 4 new Krafty girls to the team, you can check out their blogs by clicking on their links on the side of my blog. Today's challenge for Kraftin Kimmie is to let us see some stitching on your card, real or fake, doesn't matter! Our hostess is the awesome Kerry and if you participate in this weeks challenge you have the chance to win an assortment of some of the new Trinket stamps.

I have used another Lulu image, also from the Birthday Lulu set. She is cut out with a spellbinders die, stickles around the edges and one of the new Birthday Trinkets for my sentiment. Paper is by SEI and the blue cutout my sentiment is on is a MS punch anywhere punch that I trimmed down. I have used some Light blue Viva Decor pen to make the sprinkles on my cupcake. Ok, time for you to play along and win yourself some rubbah! Oh, and Kimmie is also sponsoring Crazy 4 Challenges this week and I believe it is also a stitching challenge so two chances to win with one entry. Woot woot!

Mo Manning cleaning fairy

Hello! I have another card for you to see today and this is by one of my fav artists, Mo Manning. I have a ton of her images but haven't colored them up for a bit but when I saw she was having a guest dt call, well I whipped those images out so fast my cats actually raised their heads to see what was going on. They are, errr, a little lazy!

The Challenge for this week is "Dancing and Singing" and I thought this cleaning fairy suited the challenge to a tee. I am really pleased with how this came out. My buddy Alyce gave me some pointers on doing pleats and the feather in the corner is in homage to her and all of her embellishments. A prima bubble dot with a little yellow bird and some lace and she is good to go. Ok, wish me luck and don't be surprised if you see a few more Mo Manning images, they are like potato chips, you can't stop with just one!

Little Skullie

Hi everyone! I am back to share another card from the new release at SCACD and this time I am using Little Skullie, love her attitude!

She is colored with both copics and Shinhan Touch Twin markers and my paper is some kraft cardstock I had and Carta Bella Beautiful Moments along with some Waterfall stickles around the edges of her for a little bling. You can buy her individually or as a set and get both a discount plus a bonus stamp when you purchase all 4 images. Have fun!

Anniversary card

Almost the beginning of another week but what a lovely weekend it has been. We finally got some rain last night which we really needed and today has been sunny and  in the 80's, great temp. I try not to fuss too much about the weather cause I know in a few months I will be wishing it was summer again!

This card is for my brother and sil, they just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary (he is my OLDER brother!), I don't really have any wedding images so went with one of my fav companies, LOTV.

Papers are Kaisercraft, lace is from my stash. Quick and easy to mail! I am entering this into the following challenges:

You are Fabulous!

Today is day 3 of the latest Kraftin Kimmie release and today we are previewing the designs by Emilie Goulet. There is a set of 3 images along with multiple sentiments, all revolving around birthdays.

I have chosen this image and just love her boa and the polka dot shoes she is wearing. I actually own two pairs of polka dot shoes myself! I have sprinkled Glamour dust on her boa, liquid pearls to her necklace and there is some stickles around the edge of the sentiment too. A little softer color scheme than I normally do but I am pleased with it, might have to try it more often. Ok, make sure as always that you hop around to all of the Krafty Girls blogs and leave some love for your chance to win todays new release in its entirety!

Monster notecards

Good morning everyone! I wanted to post some cute little notecards I made for my niece using the new Oddly Sweet Curiosities images available at SCACD. I wanted to give my sister some little notes she could stick in McKennah's lunch or even her older brothers for that matter. Just a little "Hiya" kind of thing.

These are all A4 sized cards, I normally make 5 1/2" square cards but I thought this was a better size for a little kid. Papers are Bo Bunny Alora which is bright and fun. Some homemade rosettes topped with a button on some and a sentiment on the others. They all have glitter on them somewhere cause McKennah is a bit of a Diva kinda girl! Make sure you check out the store, each monster has its own sentiment or you can buy the entire collection at a substantial savings!

Your favorite Kimmie image

Well, that title is our challenge this week and was thought of by Sharon. Now, I love Sharon, I really and truly do, but to make me pick a fav KK image? Not gonna happen, just can't do it. So I picked one I love but hadn't seen any ink yet.

This is Lulu and Libby and reminded me of me and my little sister, Jenny. She is colored with a mix of copics and Shinhan Touch Twin markers, the pearl centers are a gift from my wonderful friend Lisa and the paper is Echo Park So Happy Together. Time to play along for your chance to win the image on Sharons card this week, "Best Friends" which I think Kimmie is currently in the process of restocking. And make sure to check out the store as Kimmie is having a sale on almost everything right now!

Garden girl

Did everyone have a great 4th of July? How lucky we all are to be able to celebrate the freedoms we have. I have the rest of this week off and since it is too hot here to do much outside you might (as in will) be seeing several posts from me over the next few days.

My first post is for one of my fav stamp companies, Stamping Bella and their challenge this week is to use embossing on your card. I love embossing and always forget about the folders I have sitting in my craft area so this was a great way pull one out and get busy.

I have used Gardenia Greenthumbs and my embossing folder is from SCACD and is called Daisy Do. She is cut out with a spellbinders die and the paper is Neopolitan by Dear Lizzy. She is colored mostly with Shinhan Touch Twin markers which can also be found at SCACD.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:
