Well everyone, did you enjoy the new release of The Wrinklies? They seem to be a big hit and I certainly always appreciate the nice comments I get even if you HAVE to leave one to get entered for a prize! Our challenge this week is another easy one, just use flowers on your card.
I used Winestool Nikki and cut her out with a Marianne die. I tell you things went well until I tried to ink around the image. I have the worst time trying to make that ink on the edges look nice, any tips guys? Now I hate the way the edges came out so that is why the picture is smaller, no need to put it right in your face! But I didn't have time to color up another so learn from my mistake I guess. Some new MME papers and a sentiment from LCI and there you have it. Quick and simple! Oh, flowers are WOC by the way. Alright, get those blooms out of the closet for your chance to win a free stamp or the honor of posting our banner on your blog as one of the top three!

She is gorgeous Amanda!! I am afraid I can't give you any tips on inking up the edges, I have had so many disaters I have given up now! You have done a great job though so I wouldn't worry about it!! Pami x
She's beautiful! Not a great inker here, so no tips from me...Never would have guessed that it turned out any less than you would have liked it though :) Love the colors, like a deep coral color...So pretty!
Amanda my friend, you always make me laugh. I think you are so cute! I not telling a lie when the first thing I thought when I sall your card was how much I loved how you used such a delicate die and how you colored the edges. I think she looks awesome and I think you did a fantastic job of inking her. I think your card looks wonderful and I also really love the papers. Where do you get this die from? I don't think I have ever seen these? Hugs, Lisa
oh i think she looks so elegant - and what gorgeous colours you have used .. re the inking i now use my INK dusters .. and they seem to work a treat .. if you havent got any try using a shaving brush or large powder ( make up) brush

I love it Amanda; she looks very elegant! And honestly, I like how the sponging of the edges came out - that die is GORGEOUS; I'm jealous, I don't think I've ever seen it before! Well done friend, well done!!
I love seeing Winestool Nikki on these Marianne dies ( note to self add to wish list...birfday's coming up) ...the laciness ( made up word???) adds to her elegance. Your colouring rocks...love her hair! As for sponging the edges...I start off with a little ink on my sponge and build up the colour.....most of the time it works....as long as I don't have too much ink on my sponge that is! Love BB xx

I like the inking Amanda, the whole card looks really posh and classy! Gorgeous colouring as always. Think I will look out for those brushes Lisa suggested.
Hi Amanda, your card is so cute and pretty, I love the 2 DP's you put together. Your ink job isn't that bad. (I have so many tips I could give you, that might help. I will try to email you about them.) God bless and hugs.
Such a beautiful card Amanda...and super colouring as always hun...
big hugs Vicky xx
I feel your pain about the inking - I'm SO hit and miss with it, that there is no way I'm going to offer advice!! LOVE winestool Nikki, and LOVE the colour of her dress, and such pretty papers too :-D Sue xx
This is beautiful Amanda and I think your inking looks lovely. That die is gorgeous and so is Nikki.
Well, I love the card...I wish I knew how to ink the edges also. What is inking foam? I usually use chalk on the edges with a cotton ball or a round sponge!
