A pastel gift tag

Well, hopefully everyone has weathered the storm well this week. I have a new project for you today and I have used another one of the Ranger #10 tags to make my gift card holder. I have creased approx 2 inches up from the bottom, applied some tape to the edges and folded it back to make a pocket to hold a gift card on the back and decorated the front.

I was in a pastel mood so that is the colors I worked with this time. Image is Wee present by Sylvia Zet and there is an entire set also available at a discount too. She is colored with copics and I have accented her wings with stickles in diamond, my fav one. The sentiment is Kaisercraft and the poinsettia is make from a Spellbinders die. Susana doesn't have this one available at the moment but she has others that really finish off your item nicely. I have colored the white edges with a gray copic marker cause frankly, I am not that good at cutting out those intricate little bits. Not sure I like it but the white background seemed really harsh. Something to work on I guess. Ok, that's is for me today. Make sure you check back at the end of the week, we have some new images for you to check out!

I am glad to see you have weathered the storm ok! Your tag card holder is a brilliant idea. I think the gray is fine it pops the image ad she is such a cutie you want her to pop!

Wow, absolutely stunning Amanda. Love your colors and the glitter. That image is so sweet, I love Sylvia's designs. I need that poinsettia die. I've been looking for one that makes small flowers and not just the huge ones and it looks like yours is perfect. OK, pack your bags and let's head south - I'm already sick of winter lol!

Hello my friend. No I did not forget about you. I'm not sure what my problem is, but I sit down to my computer lately and I just can't get anything done. I think I need more exercise. lol... Anyway, I wanted to come by and wish you a Happy Halloween. I have missed our chats and I am so trying to play catch up. :O/ I love this card and the way you used that to die for ribbon behind her. This is really really gorgeous! I hope that you, Joe and the babies are all doing well. You should see how big Casper has gotten. He will be 1 on the 11th of Nov. and he is truly the man lion of our house. Too cute. Lucy of course is and always will be the queen, but still good to have a beautiful male around. lol... Yes, I know how weird I am, but as a weirdo I'm good with it. lmbo... Have a super great day tomorrow. Hugs, Lisa
