Paper Sundaes and paper piecing time!

Good morning all my fellow crafters in blogland! Time for another Paper Sundaes challenge and this time we are sponsored by Heather Ellis. She designs the pure innocence line of stamps and they can be purchased at her etsy store. I have been a fan of hers for awhile so love this challenge and always admire paper piecing although I don't use it as much as I should, it always adds another dimension to your image I think.

I have used October Afternoon paper, Modern Homemaker, plus a little bit of lime twist by My Minds Eye behind the image. Buttons from PTI and the ricrac is from my stash. The sentiment is by lotv and I used a fiskars  border punch for the red trim around the sentiment since I broke my scalloped circle punch, broke the darn handle right off! I used more of the lime twist paper for the paper piecing on her dress and tried to add a little shading on it with my copics. Viva decor pearls in the corners and I am done!

What a fabulous choice of image ;) I really love the vibrant colours you have used. Bad luck about your punch but the punch you have used looks terrific - it was obviously meant to be. Plus now you can have some retail therapy at your local craft shop to replace it:) hugs jenny b x
