Animals, insects or fairies

Hi everyone! Today I have a new card for you for the latest challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge and for the next week we want to see you use "Animals, Insects or Fairies" on your card and Mo has a ton of images to choose from for this challenge!

 I have chosen to use Miles in Winter, is that grin on his face adorable or what? My papers are older Basic Grey and the sentiment is from LOTV.

Fairytales!

Welcome back to day two of our DECEMBER Kraftin Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO supah cute new sets by artist Cheryl Alger with a fabulous theme.....FAIRYTALES!!! We are sharing samples today featuring.......ONCE UPON A TIME 1 and ONCE UPON A TIME 2!

I have used the cute Mad Hatter for my card today, love him! The clock embellishment is a digital image I bought from etsy and the sentiment comes with the stamp set. I have also used a MFT die for my "washi" tape, that is as close as I will probably get to using the stuff haha!

I have used the cute Pippa Popcorn on my card today, she is one of the stamps you could choose if you order the kit this month. I did add some liquid pearls to the edge of my cardstock but otherwise all of my elements are from the December Krafty Kardmaking Kit. Even the twine that I twirled into a lollipop! I frantaged the heck out of the edges, just thought it added to the exploding popcorn look lol!

I have also used one of the Winter Trinkets for my sentiment. My border is music paper I punched out with a circle punch then edged with some vintage photo DI and then platinum stickles and layered for this look. Kinda like it! I am also working on my pleats, practice makes perfect so you may be seeing more pleats here as I give them a go. Darn you Alyce for making them always look so wonderful! haha!

"I" is for...

Good morning crafty peeps! Today we have another fun challenge for Mo's DP Challenge blog and for the next week we would like to see you use something that starts with the letter "I" for your inspiration. It could be icy, illness, inspire or anything that catches your fancy but starts with an "I".

Today I have used Winter Fairy Halla on my card and am going with an "icy" feel with the blue and white theme.

Although you can't see it she has some sparkle on her leg warmers from a glitter pen and on the steam from her breath. Nice little touch irl. I have also layered three different snowflakes for an accent and have used a touch of frantage on two of them. I have also cut one out of clear plastic and added some chunky glitter on it so it was a little more subtle. Papers are Bo Bunny "Snowfall" from a couple of years ago.

Alright, whip out those papers and your Mo image and show us an awesome creation cause we love to see them! Plus Mo has just released several new images so if your card is the randomly chosen winner you could get some of them to play with!

I have used the sweet Grace on my card today and of course she is on sale if you want to snag her. My papers are new from Websters Pages, flowers are WOC and the little die is one I just picked up at Michaels over the weekend. 

I have paper pieced her skirt and used just a smidge of chalk pencil for the shadows, love paper piecing but I hate trying to shade it, dp just doesn't take ink like my copic paper does.

Celebration time at Oozak!

Hi everyone! Today I am posting a card for the Oozak challenge blog and our theme for the next two weeks is "Celebration"! Well, this worked out well for me as a co-worker requested a simple engagement card from me so I was able to kill two birds with one stone. That really isn't a very nice saying if you think about it though haha!
