Bright Birthday!

Hi everyone! Time for another inspiration post for La-la land Crafts and this week we are making projects with the theme of "Bright Birthday". Well, I love bright colors on my cards and making birthday cards is my favorite type so this was easy peasy!

I have used Autumn Marci on my card today and papers are Poppy by Little Yellow bicycle.

I have added some bright yellow ribbon and flowers from WOC for a finishing touch. Everything is better with flowers don't you think? Make sure you come back next week, we are going to be showcasing the new Halloween dies and images!

Today I am showcasing Lulu with antlers, she is one in a set of three images. I have paper pieced her dress and although you can't see it in the photo it is quite 3 dimensional as I used some Pinflair glue to adhere it. (Thanks Elaine!)

Papers are Merry and Bright by Carta Bella and I have also used another one of the new Build your own Trinkets being released this week. I like to stamp my images with black versafine ink then emboss with clear embossing powder, it really makes the letters pop!

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's SEPTEMBER 2013 RELEASE!!!!! We've been dying to share this month's new STAMPS with you!! It's CHRISTMAS time! We've got SO many exciting things going on....so let's get to it!

We are kicking off the *New* SEPTEMBER Kraftin Kimmie stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these amazing new vintage postage style sets ….SLEIGH MAIL and BUILD YOUR OWN TRINKETS!...

Today I am using both SLEIGH MAIL and BUILD YOUR OWN TRINKETS on my card. The versatility in these stamps is limited only by your imagination. I am also using one of the images you can get with your Krafty Kardmaking Kit, this is Toymaker Elf and he is one of all time favorite Christmas images. 

My papers are Christmas This and That by Echo Park. He is colored with copics and I have used a variety of snowflake diecuts on the image.

Fall fun!

Today I have chosen to use an image from the Springtime Lulu set but have used some autumn colors to change it up a bit. 

I have used my silhouette again to cut out the frame and my nail polish trick for the leaves.

Steampunk tag

Woohoo! Friday at last, and I only had to work 4 days this week lol! I enjoy my job but am definitely glad when the day is over. Anyways, our inspiration for the La-la Land Crafts blog this week is "tags" and I decided to try my hand at steampunk.

I have used some gold glitter nail polish and silver metallic nail polish to paint the gears and corner piece, it adds a great touch and gives me another reason to buy more! I also cut out her wings on my silhouette and painted them with nail polish also. My papers are an older pad by Glitz and the sentiment comes with the stamp. My links and copics are listed below.

Dandelions!

Hello! So glad you popped by today to see my latest card, this is another one for the newest DP2 challenge and I have used Make a Wish for my card today for the "Anything Goes" challenge this week. I have been wanting to color her up for awhile and even pulled out my silhouette SD this week to add some cutouts to the card.

Unfortunately you can't see it but there is a little bit of sparkle on the all of the dandelions and gem centers in the cut outs. I used flowers from the wedding section at Michaels and added some yellow flower soft to the center of them to look like daisies. I have also colored the white on her using the C copics my buddy Cheryl suggested on her blog, not bad for a first try!  Okay, entering the guest dt spot again, thanks for all of the good luck wishes I have gotten so far, I truly appreciate them!

Dies and punches challenge

Hello everyone and today is the start of a new challenge over at the Oozak challenge blog and for this challenge we would like to see you use "Dies and/or punches". Super simple right?
