Tag Time at Stamping Bellas

Happy Friday everyone! I am off work today (working the weekend though) and I have a bunch of errands to run and then hope to get some coloring done. Todays project is a tag I have made for this weeks Stamping Bella challenge and I have used Izzie has a Prezzie.

Well, it also has lace at the bottom but I couldn't find a way to prop it up so you could see it so just imagine, okay? She is stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with copics and some prisma pencils for the shading on her jacket. I even paper pieced her little skirt. The snowflake is a MS punch out of glitter paper with a rose attached and I have some little corner dies with stickles on them at the bottom. Ok, next weeks challenge is a sketch, oooh how I love having a sketch to work with! Make sure to play along for your chance to win some bella bucks!

Let the Trinket Previews commence!

WOW! I can't believe it's the end of the year already!! Well, we've got lots of amazing new stuff at Kraftin Kimmie stamps for our final release of 2012!! Get ready for our DECEMBER 2012 RELEASE!!!!!

We are kicking off the *New* DECEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….CIRCUS TRINKETS!!!
...

What a FUN set of awesome new stamps....and I don't suppose it's going to be too hard to figure out what theme one of the artists worked with this month, hunh??

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the CIRCUS Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Today we have awesome samples that the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new CIRCUS TRINKETS set!!! {And just WAIT 'til you see how they combine with our other NEW December stamps!!!}

Happy kraftin'!

I have used the newly released Krafty Katastrophe and one of the new Circus Trinkets. This is so me and one of my cats Lucy! She is forever stealing things from my craft room but I wouldn't have it any other way, she is a lot of fun. She was carrying felt around the other day like it was an animal she had caught. Goofy. Ok, make sure you comment on everyones blog below for your chance to win a set of Trinkets!

My grandmothers birthday card

Hi everyone! Today I am showing you the birthday card I made for my grandmother, she turned 90 last week and we had a surprise birthday party for her on Saturday. She is a lot of fun and doing very well for her age, she still lives by herself (and her fat pomeranian Pritzi), walks all over the town and has a great sense of humor. Love ya Grandma Eisley! Oh, and Leslie, if you are reading this, you asked me on my last Bella post how I get the stickles around my image so neat. I apologize but I couldn't find anyway to email you back but all I do is follow the indention from my spellbinders die. And if the stickles is colored I do color the edge of the image with a matching copic as the stickles tends to shrink as it dries. Hope that helped!

I thought she might like this image by Stamping Bella called Lulu loves Poppies. She is colored with copics and prisma pencils, paper is MME and flowers are prima. I have added some stickles to the center of the flowers for a little bling and used a paper punch for the scalloped borders. Ok, make sure you check back Friday for my next Stamping Bella card!

Santa Claus image by Sugan Nellie

Good Morning everyone! It is Sunday morning here and the weather outside is warm but gray and overcast. I have done all of the normal weekend chores so hope to sit down and color a bit today. Does it seem to anyone else when they have time to color they find other things that need done and when they have to do other things all they want to do is color? No wonder men don't understand us!

Anyways, I made this card a few weeks ago for a xmas card exchange on the Sugar Nellie facebook page and since Karen let me know she received it I am gonna go ahead and post it cause I was really pleased with it. Chuffed I guess if you are in the UK! Haha!

This is Old Saint Nick from Sugar Nellie and I just love his expression. Do you guys see that sparkly snowflake I added? It is a stickpin and my wonderful and generous friend Elaine sent it to me a year or so ago. I tell you it took everything I had to put it on a card and mail it away! It just glimmers and sparkles like you wouldn't believe. Oh, I also used some gray for my shading on the red, a tip I got from my friends Melanie and Elaine and it really does add a nice depth. Are cardmaking buddies not the best or what? Ok, that is it for me today. Hope everyone has a great week!

I have used one of Annie Rodrigue's newer xmas images, she is called Joy and I have done her in non-traditional colors this time. My sentiment is a Winter Trinket stamped with brilliance ink. Some glamour dust on her fur and ribbon across the corners for a little softness. Ok, now its your turn to show us your idea of "Baby its cold outside!"
