Good morning everyone! Time for a challenge from Paper Sundaes and this week our sponsor is the fabulous Sugar Nellie! And we are challenging you to make a bookmark with one of their images. Some of the girls have done corner bookmarks and some have done standard ones like I did, Jenny even did a magnetic one (I am so gonna do that sometime unless I can talk her into sending me the one she made!).
My image is called I love to read and this would have been me in elementary school, glasses and all. I still love to read but listen to books on my ipod more than reading right now due to time constraints. I tried to keep all the embellishments fairly flat and the flower in the corner is a delphinium that Susana sent me with my last order and they are gorgeous! She is the absolute best if you are looking for paper, embellishments etc. I order a bunch of stuff from her, she probably knows my address by heart now! Alright, time to make some bookmarks and maybe get ahead on some Christmas gifts for some special people huh?

ATS challenge!
Good morning everyone! If you are looking for my Ladybug Crafts challenge post please scroll down and wear sunglasses cause it is a little bright! I managed to get another card finished up in the nick of time to play along with the All That Scraps Wednesdays challenge which is a sketch they provided.
For some reason the matting looks red but it is more of a bright pink irl. Must be that darn camera cause it couldn't possibly be the operator! Yeah right! I have used a Cheery Lynn doily cut out on the back and some plastic snowflakes topped by bead caps I smashed in my Cuttlebug and a bead brad from WOC on top for the embellishments. Okay, gotta run, almost time to leave for work!

It's baby time at Ladybug Crafts!
Good morning all my friends in blogland! It is Tuesday and you know what that means don't ya? Totally Ladybug Tuesday of course! And today our challenge is being issued by the one and only Tams and she would like to see a baby themed card. Now if this applied to me you would see a cat on my card but pretty sure that is not what she intended!
I have used one of the images from Baby baby! on my card today. So cute with all the little bubbles huh? Some paper I have had forever, I think it is DCWV but cut it all up and threw away the cover so I'm not sure. A little lace and some stickles around the edges plus some Glossy Accents on the bubbles and we are good to go. Okay, now it is your turn so get those baby images out and show us some love!

Sundae bar at Paper Sundaes
Good morning everyone! Hopefully you are having a great morning, the weather was beautiful yesterday and I am hoping for more of the same today. Today's challenge at Paper Sundaes is a Sundae bar which includes black, sparkle, distressing and flowers. I used everything except the distressing, just not my cup of tea.
This is a new image from Tiddly Inks called Fall Queen and I have used My Minds Eye paper, cut her out with a nestie and a black bow. I am not thrilled with the fur on her face, her muzzle is too dark but I fiddled for over an hour with it and had already finished the other coloring so perhaps we will just assume she was eating chocolate hmmm? The orange flower is Recollections from Michaels. This will be for one of my best friends whose birthday is this week and she also has two cats. This week we are sponsored by Stamp and Create so be sure to play along as they have wonderful stuff in their store!

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge!
Happy late Thursday everyone! I have had a busy past few days but hopefully things are on a little more even keel for the moment. My card today is for the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge which is to use your favorite stamp. I love allll the stamps she releases and I just received this one titled Toymaker Elf and he is definitely at the top of my list.
I really liked this bright green and red combo, very cheery I thought. I added some bling with the glittered ribbons and some stickles on his cuffs. Outlined everything in black for some punch and a big poinsettia from WOC in the corner. Have a great weekend!

I am a guest designer for Flutterby Wednesdays!
Good morning everyone! Do you play along with Flutterby Wednesday challenges? Well, I try to play along when I can cause I love angels and fairies and everything that includes. Well, a couple of weeks ago Danni asked me if I would be a guest designer. After running into the other room to tell hubby, picking up a cat and giving them a squeeze I calmly wrote her back and said "I would love to!"
So here is my card for the challenge this week which is "Anything goes". Lucky for me huh? This is a Sugar Nellie image and I used Memory Box papers. And do you see that poinsettia? I made her uh huh uh huh. It is a die from my good buddy Elaine. I used viva decor pearl paint in the center and some sparkly brads on my sentiment (again a gift from Elaine, I so owe her bigtime!). Alright everyone, time to pull out those stamps with wings on them and join in with us!

Halloween is sneaking up on us....
Happy Sunday everyone! It is time for another Paper Sundaes challenge and this week we are being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and our challenge is to make a Halloween or fall themed card.
I have used Hilda and Vlad by CC Designs which is available at Simon Says Stamp, papers are KCI, a nestie from some black glitter paper and a little black kitty for "good" luck! I am really disappointed the way this card photographed, she looks all pasty white and she is really shaded nicely irl. Maybe she is trying to be like Edward and Bella! Hope I got their names right as I never got into that show. Okay, time to get busy so you can enter for a chance to win a gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp!

Tag time at Totally Ladybug Tuesdays!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your weather is beautiful cause we have had gorgeous weather for the past week but unfortunately the weatherman is calling for cooler temps and rain in the near forecast. Blech!
The challenge this week at Ladybug Crafts is to make anything with a tag on it. A single tag, a card with a tag, whatever your little heart desires. Here is my take on the challenge.
I have used Vanity Reindeer with some papers I just got that I am LOVIN! They are by a company called Simple Stories and are new to me. The colors in these collection are so beautiful. A deep red, cream, beige and some green. These are the colors you will find in my house too so they really appealed to me. A little bit of lace, a paper poinsettia that I tried to put pearl drops in the center of but they sort of sank and some little red jewels to finish it off. I think it is kinda cute, don't know what I will do with it but I like it! Ok, time for you to show us what you have got and enter to win a stamp of your choice!

I'm a Sparkle N Sprinkle girl!
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I was selected, chosen and honored to be asked to be a member of the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team! WooHoo! I have loved loved loved their glitters for quite awhile now and always make sure to stop by their booth at the Akron/Canton stamp show and now I get to share all their glittery goodness with you guys! Be sure to check them out cause they have amazing embossing powders and flocking in addition to the glitter. And I am telling you if you want some tape that DOES NOT come off for assembling your cards, their teariffic tape is the best. Totally destroyed my card trying to make some changes but I know when I get it right it isn't falling apart!

What is your favorite color?
Good Morning everyone! While you are reading this I am probably sitting drinking a cup of hot tea and watching the deer walk thru the backyard at our camp. This week is the Autumn Leaf festival so we are spending a couple of days in Clarion to visit our nephews at college and wander around enjoying the sights.
Ok, enough blathering. The challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to use your favorite color combination and we are being sponsored by Letraset. Now I have to say I had a bit of a problem with this challenge cause I don't really have a favorite color combo. I sort of have a favorite of the day or whatever colors suit my mood at the time but I have always loved pink and green so that is what I used.
My image is by LOTV, the silver corners are by WOC and the sentiment is from my friend Elaine. (they stamp really well Elaine!). I embossed a doily background with some silver powder for behind the sentiment, some MS punched snowflakes and some little pearl button snowflakes for in the center of them that I clipped the back off of. For some reason my matting papers look red here but they are a deep rose color to match the dp. Alright, our challenge participation has been great so let's keep the ball rolling!

A paper pieced Halloween!
Happy Tuesday my blogging buddies! My card for today didn't come out as bright and bold as I liked but it is okay. The challenge this week at Kraftin Kimmie is paper piecing. Now I love paper piecing and thought this would be simple but the image I chose just didn't work out as I planned.
I used a light beige paper that has some very small pink dots on it and I also paper pieced the pumpkin. I colored her skin a pale green and added some shading to the images with my copics but it is still a little bland for my taste so I went a little crazy with the background. The haunted house I cut out using my silhouette and added black stickles to all the outlines then filled in the windows with silver paint. I also cut out the Boo lettering with my silhouette (loving that machine!) and used orange glitter on it. I would have liked to add some lime green but just couldn't think of what else to add. A ton of embellishments is apparently not my forte!

LCI's team challenge!
Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend and that your week is going well. Today's post is for the Totally Ladybug Tuesday challenge and this week we are all using the same image, Nikki running with Buttercup. It is so interesting to see such different takes on the same image and our challenge this week is, are you sitting down? No designer paper! Yikes! Just so you know this is Julie's challenge so blame her if you have any issues with it! I forgot and have to admit I have the cutest papers all put together and taped down just waiting for this when I remembered the challenge. Boogers!
I tried to go a little rustic with the image but need to add some more color to the image I think. It looks a little too white to me but I needed to get it posted so will do that later. Make sure you hop over and see everyone elses takes on the this challenge and get your card made for your chance to win!

YNS challenge entries
Saturday evening and I just finished up a couple of cards for the Your Next Stamp challenge which is to use a provided sketch. The prize up for grabs is the cutest stamp and matching die for a string of Christmas lights so I made two cards to up my chances!
I think I bought these images last year and never got around to using them so this was the perfect chance to ink them up. I used a couple of different paper pads and a corner punch to shape the end of my sentiment tag on the bottom one. Alright, almost time of bed for me. Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for my Paper Sundaes card!
