A simple card
Good morning everyone. I just wanted to post a simple card I made over the weekend, I have always loved when people stamp directly on the card base and color it up so I thought I might try it myself.
The image and sentiment are from Sparkle n sprinkle and if you go to the website you will find full instructions and a list of supplies. Hope you all have a great week and a wonderful New Year!

Tag you're it!
Thanks heavens it is Saturday is all I can say! This has been one long and I haven't gotten hardly any crafting done. But I did manage to get my Kraftin Kimmie item done and this week it is all about "tags". Whether you make a tag like I did or make a tag and put the image on a card, we just wanna see them!
This is one of the images I haven't gotten around to inking up (I know, shame on me!) and now I can't find it in the store but her name is Lavinia. I kinda liked the steampunk look to her and that sassy look on her face. She is on a Tim Holtz tag with some decorative paper, the corner of a doily, some silver peel offs and a reflective little word tag for in the corner. Oh, and a flower of course! Alright, let's see those tags girls (and guys!) and if you play along you have a chance at winning Cut throat Lizzie that Sandie is showcasing on her blog this week.

Just because...
Good Morning friends! I have a card today that I made just because, well I should say that wasn't for a dt commitment. Stamping Bella has a sketch challenge this week and I finally got a chance to play along and since I just bought several of their "Uptown Girl" images I thought I would take advantage.
These are some older Basic Grey papers, some sheer shimmery ribbon and of course, glamour dust on her dress and shoes. Wish I had legs like this girl! Some red spica pen for the berries on the mistletoe and voila! One of my only Christmas cards this year! All right, time for me to get outta here and get to work. Hope you all have a great day!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...
Well unfortunately, no white Christmas yet but at least the rain seems to have passed because the past few days have been cold but sunny. But the challenge this week at Tiddly Inks is "White Christmas". I have used the hysterical image called Minnie's Christmas lights.
I glittered up some poinsettias and used glossy accents on her string of bulbs and her glasses for a little extra texture. Some Viva Decor white pearls on the spellbinders die and a shimmery silver snowflake and she is ready, as soon as she gets untangled of course! Okay, let's see what you have to show us and after this challenge the design team will get to take a little break to spend the holidays with family and friends. So we will see you again at the beginning of the year!

Hopefully you have arrived here from the awesome Nicole's blog. Isn't she amazing? I have used another image by Cheryl Alger today, Girl with Flowerpot. Do you know how many different flowers I tried putting on here? I made two different felt flowers, 3 different paper flowers and 3 different crochet flowers and I didn't like any of them. I finally settled on the flowers I had from the wedding section at the local craft store.
I have also used some clear gems in each corner, I just got a 1 lb bucket of them so you might see them a lot! There is some beige shading around the image but I always have the most difficult time getting it to show. Alright, next on the list is the lovely Krista. And if you get lost you can always start back at the beginning where Kimmie has a list of everyone participating.

Flutterby Wednesday time!
Happy Over the Hump Day my blogging friends! It is starting to cool down a bit in my neck of the woods and although I don't normally say this, I would like a little snow to bring on the Christmas spirit. Just a bit for the next few weeks and then directly into spring would be great! Anyways, over at Flutterby Wednesdays we have an anything goes challenge and... it lasts until the end of the month! Yep, you have until December 31th to play along and you can enter as often as you like! How is that for incentive to play along? Plus I heard thru the rumor mill there might even be a prize...
My image is from Sassy Cheryls and I just love her attitude! I have used some super sparkly silver paper for across each corner and also cut out some mini stars for on the background. Now I will confess I had to do my card this evening and so I am not thrilled with the sentiment. I think I will take it off and put down something else but due to time constraints, this is what you get today! Okay, you have plenty of time to play along so let's see your gorgeous creations!

Oh la la! at Tiddly Inks
Wow, I can hardly believe we are already into the second week of December! Time sure does fly doesn't it? Today's post is for Tiddly Inks and our challenge this week is "Oh la la" or "heat things up". Christy has lots of images that would fit either one of these and I chose Heartbroke Happy to color up.
Paper is by Bo Bunny and the sentiment is computer generated. I have been downloading some free fonts lately and playing with them a bit. I tried to color her skirt to look transparent but just wasn't happy with it so I put a layer of stickles on it plus brushed some on the cut out heart for a little bling. Some glossy accents on the heart and she is ready to rock someones world! Now it is your turn to play along for a chance to win some free digis. And if you haven't seen them already Christy has some adorable new images to buy, I hope to color some up and make a special gift for my 5 year old niece for Christmas so I should be posting those soon.

My first post with Kraftin Kimmie!
Well in case you didn't know, I was invited to be a guest dt member for the month of December. You have NO IDEA how excited I was when I got Kimmie's email! And our challenge this week at Kraftin Kimmies is to use embossing, either heat embossing or dry or both if you choose!
I have used one of Kimmies Christmas release stamps called Felicity and I apologize because she does have a halo but I am not sure where exactly it is. But she is still pretty don't ya think? I have heat embossed the edges of the dp with gold powder and the paper directly behind the image is dry embossed and then rubbed with some distress ink to bring out the dimension a bit. Her dress did not want to cooperate with me and on the original image the ink ran (note to self, you do not need to saturate the image with smooch ink to get it to glimmer) so I stamped a gold design on some white paper and paper pieced it although it is really hard to see in the photo. Alright, time to get your embossing tools out and if you win you get the stamp Diana has used this week on her card which is the lovely Takara! And Kimmie's Frugal Fridays specials are available now too. On sale this week are Mr Punkinhead, Rudy the Reindeer, Billy Blyth, Speedy the Turtle, Roxy and You are a Treat!

I made a Sugar Nellie card!
Well Elaine, I told you I was gonna so here it is. This is a card I made using the sketch over at the Sugar Bowl challenge and am also going to enter it into the Ribbon Girl challenge which is to use pink and white on your card. This card is for my Grandmothers birthday and the stamp is a gift from my bestest buddy Elaine "Dawg" Livesey (personal joke).
The papers are Authentique and the lace ribbon roses are from Hobby Lobby. I have stickled up her wings and the little circles on her dress and the butterfly is again cut by my silhouette machine. I have heat embossed it with powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Okay, that is it for me today. But make sure you check back tomorrow for my Flutterby Wednesday post and then my Kraftin Kimmie guest post on Saturday.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland
I hope everyone has had a great weekend, a lovely Thanksgiving and not too exhausted from fighting all those shoppers for some great deals! I DO NOT go out and fight the crowds, there is nothing I want/need that badly to make me go and do that. Anyways, our challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to make an item with the theme "Winter Wonderland". And our sponsor is the great Michelles's Scrapbooking.
I have used Autumn Marci for my tag and some xmas papers by K and Company. There is some white and clear glitter on some of the edges to add to the snow look and some snowflakes cut out on my silhouette machine with some glitter dots and a big brad added for some texture and bling. Make sure you play along this week for your chance to win a gift certificate from Michelles and also I wanted to thank all of the girls over at Paper Sundaes for being so nice. This is my last challenge with them and they have been great to work with. Keep in touch guys!

Flutterby Wednesday time!
Happy middle of the week! Time for another challenge at Flutterby Wednesdays and our sponsor this week is Paper Pretties. If you are looking for whimsical, this is the place to go!
The image I have used is called Garner and I used some new Bo Bunny papers to liven him up a bit. The sentiment is LOTV (thanks Elaine!) and the flowers are punched shapes with some liquid pearls in the center. My butterfly is kraft paper cut out on my silhouette machine and a little bit of stickles in the center of my daisies for a little sparkle. Alright, lets see your creations for a chance to win some goodies from Paper Pretties!

Two week challenge at Tiddly Inks!
Happy Tuesday everyone! Two more days until Thanksgiving, I can hardly believe it. Friday I will spend putting up Christmas decorations, no way am I fighting crowds to go shopping! For the next two weeks at Tiddly Inks we are still having an "Anything Goes" challenge plus you get an extra week to participate due to the holiday, pretty nice of Christy huh?
Ok, another card I really like but who wouldn't love using Lilli Claire warm wishes huh? The paper is Basic Grey from a couple of years ago, the silver trim is for Xmas tree decorating and is from my buddy Patty, adds a nice little sparkle to the card. The sentiment is actually heat embossed with silver powder but you can't really tell in the photo. Alright everyone, we are giving you an extra week to play along for your chance to win some digi images from the store so let's see what you got and make sure you post it at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog! We would love to see what you make!

Simon Says Stamp challenge at Paper Sundaes
Good morning all my blogging friends! This week at Paper Sundaes we are being sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp and the challenge this week is Beautiful Bows. Now I will occasionally put a bow on my card but the only way I get them to look nice is to use this little gadget I saw on Becca's blog called a peg bow maker. It is so simple and I grab it everytime I need to make one. Yes, I have the bow easy but I don't really care for it (Patty do you want it?) but the peg bow maker is awesome! Anyways, I have used a cute Christmas image by CC Designs called Reindeer Lights.
I have to say I reallllly like this card and I have already had one of my friends take it from me! Might have to make me another one! I have colored him with copics with some prismacolor pencils to deepen the shading a bit. The bow is actually attached to the bottom ribbon with glue so it would lie down sideways. He has some glossy accents on his nose and all of the lights and some bling with the snowflake. Okay everyone, if you want a chance to win a gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp you gotta play so make your bows however you like and post your link on the main site. Good luck! I would like to enter this into the All that scraps challenge which is thankful. I am thankful my Christmas tree is prelit or I would look like this too!

Guess who else I'm designing for!
If you guessed Flutterby Wednesdays you would be right! Danni wrote me a few weeks ago after I had played along in a challenge and asked if I would like to be part of the team. Say what? Of course I would love to play along! I love butterflies, angels and fairies and enjoy being able to actually ink up some of the few, errrr hundred, stamps I have sitting in my craft room. The image I used today is from the etsy shop of Saturated Canary aka Krista Smith. Now I have to say I avoided these images cause I am just not a cankle kind of girl but those eyes really drew me in.
I am entering this into the Saturated Canary challenge blog which is to use fall colors. And if you want to play along this week with Flutterby Wednesdays the challenge is Anything Goes! Just make sure you include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card and you are set!

Anything goes at Tiddly Inks!
Hi everyone! Hope your Tuesday is going well. The challenge today at Tiddly Inks is easy, ANYTHING GOES! So let's see what you got, perhaps get some of those Christmas cards done huh? My image is called Awww thanks and was requested by one of the girls I work with for her preceptor.
I am still fiddling with my picture taking but I think this one is a little bit better. This is a new paper pad I just got and LOVE! It is called Piccadilly by Basic Grey and the colors and retro flowers are right up my alley. Make sure you hop over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and enter for your chance to win some stamps!

Pink Cat Studio time at Paper Sundaes!
Good morning everyone! Hope your week is starting out well. I am probably out buying a new dishwasher when you are reading this as mine is periodically choosing not to run.
Anyways, today at Paper Sundaes we are being sponsored by the awesome Pink Cat Studios and the challenge is to use a digi image. Now I personally love digis, more bang for your buck and instant gratification. My image is called Lily Elf carrying tree and I think she is adorable and I am really pleased with the card too.
I used (finally!) my banner die from Whimsy stamps and a border die from MFT, some chipboard snowflakes and some bright papers and Lily is on her way! So now it is your turn to make up something using a digi and if you haven't tried them before you might just be surprised how great they are!

My first blog hop with Sparkle N Sprinkle!
Hi everyone! Well this is my first blog hop with the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team and I am telling you, they have really made me step out of my comfort zone! Minimal copic coloring can you believe it? Our blog hop is about different Cultures. You should have arrived here from Linda's blog and if you get lost along the way just hop back to the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog page to pick up where you left off. My first card is more of an elegant theme and although I wouldn't consider it Asian it does have a little bit of that with the doily medallion for the center.
I have inked up only the center of the stamp image to try and make it look like the doilies that are so popular right now. The image is from the Frames and Borders set and I used Antiquities embossing powder on the image and the sentiment which is from the Just for You set. Some designer paper and lace and a simple but elegant card.
My next image is a tag using the same set of stamps, Frames and Borders, but in addition to using the center image again, I also used the flower border along the bottom.
Some more designer paper and paper flowers and you have a little tag to add to gift. The next stop is at Shona's blog and make sure you comment on everyone's blog as there are prizes to be had!

Love is in the air....
Please scroll down after this post to see my exciting news!
Time for another great blog hop from the ladybugs and this time "love is in the air"! You should have arrived here from the awesome Mary J. Is she not talented or what?! I have two cards to show you today.
I kept both of these simple so the design could really stand out and by the way, the stamps are on sale for a limited time only. Sorry for the pictures, I was fiddling with some new light bulbs and am NOT happy with them. This image is called Just Married.

And as an added bonus several of the girls are giving away some blog candy! I have a bit on here and plan to add a bit more to it as but the rest will be a surprise! Which means I am still going thru stuff to put in it!
Make sure you leave a comment on every blog and on the challenge blog with which stamp is your favorite to be in the drawing and then head on over to Pinky and see what great ideas she has come up with. And make sure you have the challenge blog banner showing on your sidebar! This week our challenge is a choice, Love and Marriage or Anything Goes. And on a sadder note, this is my final posting with the Ladybugs. I want to thank them all, they are the most supportive caring bunch of women I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have been offered a couple of new dt positions and am "spreading my wings" so to speak. Best of luck girls, I love you all!

I am a Tiddly Inker!!!!!
I tell ya guys, I could barely keep this under wraps but a couple of weeks ago Christy from Tiddly Inks emailed me and asked if I would be interested in being on her design team. Wrote me! Not the other way around! I LOOOOVE Tiddly Inks so I didn't hesitate to jump on board. I'm telling you, I was so thrilled to be asked I had to call my hubby at work and tell him. He was happy of course, really had no idea what I was talking about but that is par for the course.
Alright, enough blubbering and onto my first challenge card. This week is really easy, ANYTHING GOES. I mean c'mon, it doesn't get any simpler now does it? If you want to see what everyone else has made (and you will be impressed!) make sure you check out the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.
I have used Lilli Claire's Bouquet and some crate paper dp's. She is definitely at the top of my list for all around cuteness don't you think? The sentiment is popped up on an embossed doily stamp and I have added stickles to all of the flowers. This was for one of the girls at my new job to thank her for taking me under wing and training me for a bit. Okay, now it is your turn to make a card, tag or whatever your heart desires for a chance to win a $10 gift card to Tiddly Inks!

Tickled Pink is sponsoring Paper Sundaes!
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far. Today is Sunday so that means another challenge at Paper Sundaes and this week we are being sponsored by Tickled Pink Stamps. They have some of the best stamps around, digi and rubber. Great detail on them for sure. And the dt were generously offered a free digi to use for the challenge so I chose to use Lil Christmas Lolita Evie.
Our challenge this week is to make a rectangular card and since this image is a digi it was easy to make her long and narrow, something I ain't even close to being irl! My card is 4x6 1/2 and I have used some new papers I got at Hobby Lobby from the Paper Factory. Love the big christmas ornament background. I kept this design pretty simple so the image and paper could be the stars. Ok, your turn now, you know there is stuff up for grabs plus the chance to get a top 3 blinkie for on your blog!

Get it while you can!
Boy are these weeks going by quickly! Already into November, hard to believe huh? Well, it is time for another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this time we want you to use distressing or non-traditional colors. We are all using the same image this week to show you how versatile a stamp can be and it is called Nikki and Buttercup building a snowman.
This paper I believe is Merrymint by American Crafts and I have used a MS punch for the border then applied some silver drops with my Viva Decor pearl pen. A little sparkly fluff on her collar and some stickles on the edges of the snow and another winter card done! The sentiment is also from Ladybug Crafts if you are interested. Now don't forget, this particular stamp will be on sale but only for November so make sure you get it while it lasts!

Paper Sundaes is being hosted by Sugar Nellie!
Good morning everyone! Time for a challenge from Paper Sundaes and this week our sponsor is the fabulous Sugar Nellie! And we are challenging you to make a bookmark with one of their images. Some of the girls have done corner bookmarks and some have done standard ones like I did, Jenny even did a magnetic one (I am so gonna do that sometime unless I can talk her into sending me the one she made!).
My image is called I love to read and this would have been me in elementary school, glasses and all. I still love to read but listen to books on my ipod more than reading right now due to time constraints. I tried to keep all the embellishments fairly flat and the flower in the corner is a delphinium that Susana sent me with my last order and they are gorgeous! She is the absolute best if you are looking for paper, embellishments etc. I order a bunch of stuff from her, she probably knows my address by heart now! Alright, time to make some bookmarks and maybe get ahead on some Christmas gifts for some special people huh?

ATS challenge!
Good morning everyone! If you are looking for my Ladybug Crafts challenge post please scroll down and wear sunglasses cause it is a little bright! I managed to get another card finished up in the nick of time to play along with the All That Scraps Wednesdays challenge which is a sketch they provided.
For some reason the matting looks red but it is more of a bright pink irl. Must be that darn camera cause it couldn't possibly be the operator! Yeah right! I have used a Cheery Lynn doily cut out on the back and some plastic snowflakes topped by bead caps I smashed in my Cuttlebug and a bead brad from WOC on top for the embellishments. Okay, gotta run, almost time to leave for work!

It's baby time at Ladybug Crafts!
Good morning all my friends in blogland! It is Tuesday and you know what that means don't ya? Totally Ladybug Tuesday of course! And today our challenge is being issued by the one and only Tams and she would like to see a baby themed card. Now if this applied to me you would see a cat on my card but pretty sure that is not what she intended!
I have used one of the images from Baby baby! on my card today. So cute with all the little bubbles huh? Some paper I have had forever, I think it is DCWV but cut it all up and threw away the cover so I'm not sure. A little lace and some stickles around the edges plus some Glossy Accents on the bubbles and we are good to go. Okay, now it is your turn so get those baby images out and show us some love!

Sundae bar at Paper Sundaes
Good morning everyone! Hopefully you are having a great morning, the weather was beautiful yesterday and I am hoping for more of the same today. Today's challenge at Paper Sundaes is a Sundae bar which includes black, sparkle, distressing and flowers. I used everything except the distressing, just not my cup of tea.
This is a new image from Tiddly Inks called Fall Queen and I have used My Minds Eye paper, cut her out with a nestie and a black bow. I am not thrilled with the fur on her face, her muzzle is too dark but I fiddled for over an hour with it and had already finished the other coloring so perhaps we will just assume she was eating chocolate hmmm? The orange flower is Recollections from Michaels. This will be for one of my best friends whose birthday is this week and she also has two cats. This week we are sponsored by Stamp and Create so be sure to play along as they have wonderful stuff in their store!

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge!
Happy late Thursday everyone! I have had a busy past few days but hopefully things are on a little more even keel for the moment. My card today is for the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge which is to use your favorite stamp. I love allll the stamps she releases and I just received this one titled Toymaker Elf and he is definitely at the top of my list.
I really liked this bright green and red combo, very cheery I thought. I added some bling with the glittered ribbons and some stickles on his cuffs. Outlined everything in black for some punch and a big poinsettia from WOC in the corner. Have a great weekend!

I am a guest designer for Flutterby Wednesdays!
Good morning everyone! Do you play along with Flutterby Wednesday challenges? Well, I try to play along when I can cause I love angels and fairies and everything that includes. Well, a couple of weeks ago Danni asked me if I would be a guest designer. After running into the other room to tell hubby, picking up a cat and giving them a squeeze I calmly wrote her back and said "I would love to!"
So here is my card for the challenge this week which is "Anything goes". Lucky for me huh? This is a Sugar Nellie image and I used Memory Box papers. And do you see that poinsettia? I made her uh huh uh huh. It is a die from my good buddy Elaine. I used viva decor pearl paint in the center and some sparkly brads on my sentiment (again a gift from Elaine, I so owe her bigtime!). Alright everyone, time to pull out those stamps with wings on them and join in with us!

Halloween is sneaking up on us....
Happy Sunday everyone! It is time for another Paper Sundaes challenge and this week we are being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and our challenge is to make a Halloween or fall themed card.
I have used Hilda and Vlad by CC Designs which is available at Simon Says Stamp, papers are KCI, a nestie from some black glitter paper and a little black kitty for "good" luck! I am really disappointed the way this card photographed, she looks all pasty white and she is really shaded nicely irl. Maybe she is trying to be like Edward and Bella! Hope I got their names right as I never got into that show. Okay, time to get busy so you can enter for a chance to win a gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp!

Tag time at Totally Ladybug Tuesdays!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your weather is beautiful cause we have had gorgeous weather for the past week but unfortunately the weatherman is calling for cooler temps and rain in the near forecast. Blech!
The challenge this week at Ladybug Crafts is to make anything with a tag on it. A single tag, a card with a tag, whatever your little heart desires. Here is my take on the challenge.
I have used Vanity Reindeer with some papers I just got that I am LOVIN! They are by a company called Simple Stories and are new to me. The colors in these collection are so beautiful. A deep red, cream, beige and some green. These are the colors you will find in my house too so they really appealed to me. A little bit of lace, a paper poinsettia that I tried to put pearl drops in the center of but they sort of sank and some little red jewels to finish it off. I think it is kinda cute, don't know what I will do with it but I like it! Ok, time for you to show us what you have got and enter to win a stamp of your choice!

I'm a Sparkle N Sprinkle girl!
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I was selected, chosen and honored to be asked to be a member of the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team! WooHoo! I have loved loved loved their glitters for quite awhile now and always make sure to stop by their booth at the Akron/Canton stamp show and now I get to share all their glittery goodness with you guys! Be sure to check them out cause they have amazing embossing powders and flocking in addition to the glitter. And I am telling you if you want some tape that DOES NOT come off for assembling your cards, their teariffic tape is the best. Totally destroyed my card trying to make some changes but I know when I get it right it isn't falling apart!

What is your favorite color?
Good Morning everyone! While you are reading this I am probably sitting drinking a cup of hot tea and watching the deer walk thru the backyard at our camp. This week is the Autumn Leaf festival so we are spending a couple of days in Clarion to visit our nephews at college and wander around enjoying the sights.
Ok, enough blathering. The challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to use your favorite color combination and we are being sponsored by Letraset. Now I have to say I had a bit of a problem with this challenge cause I don't really have a favorite color combo. I sort of have a favorite of the day or whatever colors suit my mood at the time but I have always loved pink and green so that is what I used.
My image is by LOTV, the silver corners are by WOC and the sentiment is from my friend Elaine. (they stamp really well Elaine!). I embossed a doily background with some silver powder for behind the sentiment, some MS punched snowflakes and some little pearl button snowflakes for in the center of them that I clipped the back off of. For some reason my matting papers look red here but they are a deep rose color to match the dp. Alright, our challenge participation has been great so let's keep the ball rolling!
I am entering this card into the following challenge

A paper pieced Halloween!
Happy Tuesday my blogging buddies! My card for today didn't come out as bright and bold as I liked but it is okay. The challenge this week at Kraftin Kimmie is paper piecing. Now I love paper piecing and thought this would be simple but the image I chose just didn't work out as I planned.
I used a light beige paper that has some very small pink dots on it and I also paper pieced the pumpkin. I colored her skin a pale green and added some shading to the images with my copics but it is still a little bland for my taste so I went a little crazy with the background. The haunted house I cut out using my silhouette and added black stickles to all the outlines then filled in the windows with silver paint. I also cut out the Boo lettering with my silhouette (loving that machine!) and used orange glitter on it. I would have liked to add some lime green but just couldn't think of what else to add. A ton of embellishments is apparently not my forte!
I am entering this into the following challenges:

LCI's team challenge!
Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend and that your week is going well. Today's post is for the Totally Ladybug Tuesday challenge and this week we are all using the same image, Nikki running with Buttercup. It is so interesting to see such different takes on the same image and our challenge this week is, are you sitting down? No designer paper! Yikes! Just so you know this is Julie's challenge so blame her if you have any issues with it! I forgot and have to admit I have the cutest papers all put together and taped down just waiting for this when I remembered the challenge. Boogers!
I tried to go a little rustic with the image but need to add some more color to the image I think. It looks a little too white to me but I needed to get it posted so will do that later. Make sure you hop over and see everyone elses takes on the this challenge and get your card made for your chance to win!

YNS challenge entries
Saturday evening and I just finished up a couple of cards for the Your Next Stamp challenge which is to use a provided sketch. The prize up for grabs is the cutest stamp and matching die for a string of Christmas lights so I made two cards to up my chances!
I think I bought these images last year and never got around to using them so this was the perfect chance to ink them up. I used a couple of different paper pads and a corner punch to shape the end of my sentiment tag on the bottom one. Alright, almost time of bed for me. Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for my Paper Sundaes card!

It's feeling like fall at LCI!
Happy Tuesday all my fellow bloggers. Today I was chosen to pick the challenge for Totally ladybug Tuesday and I chose fall with the option of a fancy fold on your card. Now why I chose this option is beyond me because other than one or two easel cards I have never done any other type. But I guess it pushes me to try something new right?
I chose Frog chasing Jack and made a trifold card. I have shown you a picture of it both closed and open. I was going to decorate the inside and might still do it but the paper I used already has some texture to it and I like the look of it so it might just stay as it is. I have used a green satin ribbon to tie it shut and played around with my new copic airbrush. It is a little splotchy as I am still getting used to it but I think it makes the background look a little dirty and with Jack that is probably a natural thing for him! Besides, it is my blog and I can justify whatever I choose! Alright, let us see what you can make with a fall theme and/or a fancy folded card for your chance to win a free stamp or be chosen as one of the top three and get to place our banner on your sidebar.

Cute Card Thursday challenge
Good evening everyone. Well, I know it has been weighing heavily on everybody's mind how the first day at my new job went (quit rolling your eyes, I know you are!). Not bad but didn't really do much. Signed a bunch of papers, got pictures taken for my name badge, toured the building, all that mundane stuff. So far everyone is super nice but tomorrow starts the actual training so keeping my fingers crossed I manage to keep up. I'm not getting any younger you know!
Ok, onto my card which is for the weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge which is a sketch. The winner gets their choice of 2 images from Kraftin Kimmie and all my friends know I am a sucker for a chance to win some more of her stamps.
This is an image I just got but is from last years Halloween release. For some reason her skin looks really pale, not sure why but perhaps we will just think of her as a vampire hmmm? She is on this years K and Company Halloween papers with a recollections tag and glittered cat to add a little something extra. A big black bow with an orange and black button layered button to finish it off. I sort of think it looks like a big creepy eye but that is just me. Alright, that is it for me for tonite. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for my LCI post!

Anything goes at Paper Sundaes!
Hi everyone! This week at Paper Sundaes we are being sponsored by Michelles Scrapbooking and the challenge is "Anything Goes"! Pretty easy huh? So no excuse for you not to play along! My image is Fall Birgitta and I have 3D pieced her using defective Pinflair glue from my friend Elaine. She won't admit it but I think she is sabotaging my efforts! Just kidding, she is the best. Not her fault my glue exploded when I tried to squeeze it. I must be stronger than I thought!
For some reason it took me forever to finish this card. I have a ton of stickles on the sunflower centers and I think I bumped them 3 or 4 times and had to keep putting more on. Then I just couldn't find any embellishments I was happy with. Ever have days like that? Well, I had to get it done or miss the challenge and I think these work okay. Alright, time to take a break now but can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

New papers available
Just thought you guys might want to enter for chance to win some beautiful papers from a new company called Ridderesholm design. They are offering a selection of their papers and some candy to spread the word until October 15th. The badge is on my sidebar if you want to click there instead.
A Fairy cute image!
Poet and don't know it huh! This is my second post for today so if you are looking for the LCI blog hop just scroll down a bit and there ya go! This card is using a fairy by Mo Manning and they are having a Celebration challenge to celebrate their 100th challenge. Great prizes to be won!
I tried to color the image in a little bit softer colors and let the paper stand out since it is fairly bold, sorry but these pieces were in my scrap bin so I don't know who they are by but I believe the flower portion is K and Company from a year or so ago. A sentiment by LOTV with some gold stickles, flowers by WOC with some little cut off leaves from Michaels and some gold corner stickum things. Okay, gotta make it a fast post cause I need to head out to work now. Have a great day!
Challenges I am entering:
DP challenge Celebration
Flutterby Wednesdays An image with wings, pink, glitter and butterflies too
I tried to color the image in a little bit softer colors and let the paper stand out since it is fairly bold, sorry but these pieces were in my scrap bin so I don't know who they are by but I believe the flower portion is K and Company from a year or so ago. A sentiment by LOTV with some gold stickles, flowers by WOC with some little cut off leaves from Michaels and some gold corner stickum things. Okay, gotta make it a fast post cause I need to head out to work now. Have a great day!

The Ladybugs are going digi!
I'm telling ya, I was so excited when Kerry told us this! I love rubber but I am loving digi's more. Price can't be beat, instant gratification and perfect image everytime I print. You should have arrived here from Gaelle but if not you can hop over to LCI and start at the beginning. We have 3 images to start with and some add on sentiments for everyone's favorite feline, Magnum. My image is called "Remote Control" but I have to say this isn't my husband and I. We make life simple and have seperate TV's!
I don't have a sentiment on here yet cause I am gonna buy the ones in the shop and use one of them. I added a transparency to the side of the image, never did that before, and have to say I am pretty darn pleased. Now it is time for you to hop over to Julie and see what gorgeous creation she has made. And here are the "rules" for the hop!
a) Visit each of the DT members in order and leave a comment on each of their blog hop posts.
b) Leave a comment on the Challenge Blog stating which is your most favourite of the new images once you have finished the hop.
c) Display the blog hop banner which is at the top of this post on your blog, either in a post or on your side bar.
The First Prize is the WHOLE DIGI RELEASE...that's 18 images in total!!!
and then 5 runners up will receive a digi of their choice
Winner and runners up will be chosen at random.
The hop will close 12pm midday GMT on Monday 12 September and the winner will be announced at 9am GMT on Tuesday 13th September
And the challenge this week is to use ANIMALS on your card, and with the digis now available you have no excuses not to play!
