Good morning everyone! Time for a challenge from Paper Sundaes and this week our sponsor is the fabulous Sugar Nellie! And we are challenging you to make a bookmark with one of their images. Some of the girls have done corner bookmarks and some have done standard ones like I did, Jenny even did a magnetic one (I am so gonna do that sometime unless I can talk her into sending me the one she made!).
My image is called I love to read and this would have been me in elementary school, glasses and all. I still love to read but listen to books on my ipod more than reading right now due to time constraints. I tried to keep all the embellishments fairly flat and the flower in the corner is a delphinium that Susana sent me with my last order and they are gorgeous! She is the absolute best if you are looking for paper, embellishments etc. I order a bunch of stuff from her, she probably knows my address by heart now! Alright, time to make some bookmarks and maybe get ahead on some Christmas gifts for some special people huh?
Love how you coordinated the colors from the background paper with the image. Really cute bookmark!

ReplyDeleteAmanda I love your creations. The vibrant colors remind me of my high school days....peace out!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Amanda. That's a perfect image for a bookmark and you've colored her beautifully. Love those papers too.
ReplyDeleteI love making bookmarks (yet I hate making tags, go figure?) and this is so sweet! I love her cute glasses and your flower embellie is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that was me Amanda...without the glasses. I LOVE to read but like you don't get much time unless I'm on holiday. Haven't had one of those in a while so guess I'm not reading unless it's the calorie count on food packets hmph! Super cute bookmark..they're great for using up scraps. Lol..she looks a right bookworm xx
ReplyDeleteAmanda! Could you get any more color in that image and keep it looking so amazing? What a great job. Your character possesses lots of character LOL what a great job - brought a big smile to my face - thank you!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Amanda!
ReplyDeleteSo bright and beautiful, I love all these colours and I know I could never put them together half as well as you do. Awesome colouring of this sweet SASSY lady!
