"K" is for... Karma!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week and enjoying our new facebook page! We have had an overwhelming response and absolutely LOVE seeing your enthusiasm and Mo creations!

Today starts our challenge for the next two weeks and the super talented Anja would like us to use something on our cards that starts with "K". This one was tough for me, I never realized how limiting that darn letter is! But as I thought about it I realized how blessed I am to have so many crafty friends, to be on the teams I am on and to have the support of the crafting community in general so I went with "K is for Karma" and hoping this is what is bringing all of this goodness into my life.

This image is one of the very first Mo images I ever purchased and she is called Soaking up the Joy, does she not just make you grin? Papers are new by Simple Stories and I apologize, I have been trying to incorporate my Shinhan markers more and have just been grabbing whatever I think will work. If you truly want to know what colors I used I am sure I can figure them out for you. Some stickles on her skirt and she is good to go. My piercing is actually from my sewing machine as I didn't have the bobbin threaded correctly so the thread was a mess. I just ripped it out and went with the pierced look instead.

Oh, and see that green butterfly in the corner? I am going to show on the facebook page how I made it last week. They have become a bit of an obsession lately and are simple and lots of fun to create! Alright, lets see how creative you can be with the letter "K" and you will be in for both a chance to win a $5 voucher to the store and the top three and get a banner for on your blog!

Show Stoppers!

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps MARCH previews!!! We are back with a fabulous new Moonlight Whispers stamp set!! You'll love these two SASSY showgirls along with the FOUR fun sentiments!!

Today the Krafty Girls and I are thrilled to share with you.....SHOW STOPPERS!! There are lots of amazing creations on today's hop featuring both new images and sentiments from the set!! We know you are just going to LOVE these...
classy, sassy ladies and be inspired by all the fun designs!!

I have used the short haired lady for my image today because as much as I would love to have long hair, it will never happen for me, my hair grows slow as a snail.

My papers are new Kaisercraft and I have added some pearls and a couple of feathers for a little "ooh la la". I have also tried to go with purple hair but am thinking it is a bit much. Oh well, better on a card then in my hair right? My markers are a bit of a mish mash of copics and Shinhans as I have been trying to use both but I do have a list of them somewhere if anyone wants to know what I used.

Below you will find all the Krafty Girls who have goodies to show you today and while you're visiting their blogs, be sure to leave some love at each stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN a package of today's stamps!! Woohoo!!!

ALL of our MARCH stamps will be available on Saturday night at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!! We'll be celebrating at our LIVE ONLINE RELEASE PARTY!! It's over at our KKS Facebook fan page! Join us for all the fun!! You can find more details here!!

Lots of embellishments

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week! We have finally had a couple of nice days here so I am hoping that perhaps spring is trying to make an appearance.

Todays card is for the new Mo's DP challenge and I am the hostess. I always have trouble adding embellishments to my cards. not enough, I don't like to cover up the paper or the image, not good with stuff hanging over the edges, yes I have issues haha! So my challenge is to use "lots of embellishments". Of course, that will be different for everyone but fun to push ourselves a bit.

This lovely image is called Spring for sale and I think she has become one of my favorites. I would love to have all of those tulips! She is colored with copics and I watercolored the background with some twinkling H2O's. My butterflies are made using inkjet shrink art film and the sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp. I know it isn't a lot of embellishments compared to some people but I pushed myself to add on more then I normally do and I am really pleased with it.

Be sure to come check us out on facebook this weekend at the new Bella and Brontes Clubhouse! It will be a lot of fun with chatting, challenges, tutorials and some stuff you may not have seen before. And remember, you now have two weeks to play along with the latest challenge.
