Color Challenge

Well, welcome back for another supah fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got another fantastically FUN challenge for you this week, not to mention lots of other fun stuff!! Come along and play with us!

This week our hostess is Karen! And her challenge is a Colour Inspiration challenge!! So create a card with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that is inspired by the colour block picture below! And here is my card for the challenge using one of the new Rachelle Ann Miller stamps called Sweet Little Princess. I have added some little gems to her crown for some bling and a new Memory Box die I got for the flower. Again, keeping it pretty simple.

Summertime Fun!

Hi everyone and happy Friday to you! Todays card is for my guest spot with La-la land Crafts and our theme this week is "Summer Fun". I have used Summer Marci with my traditional bright colored papers.

She is colored with copics and a touch of Shinhan marker, colors below. The sentiment is from LOTV, the charm from my stash and the Butterfly is a La-la land die. I have to say, these dies cut better then any other dies I have and trust me, I have quite a few!

Bling obsession!

Wow, two cards in one day! Must be all of the sweet tea I am drinking in this hot weather! I recently received a wonderful gift from my friend Elaine as she knows I love love love bling and it was a small handmade box full of glittery pearl and rhinestone embellishments. I have been reluctant to use them because they are so gorgeous and right now you can't get them in the US but I understand that is going to be changing soon so I parted with one of the butterflies and made this.

I know it is hard to see the sparkle on the butterfly but trust me, it is stunning irl! I would like to play along with the Handcrafted Card Company challenge which is to use "Royal" colors in your submission but since I now see they only accept UK submissions I might be out of luck. I have gone with a lovely deep purple theme and just got my new WOC Le Jardin tag stamps in so added one of those in too. Enjoy your weekend, I am off to get this mop of hair cut!

Another puppy card!

Good afternoon everyone! It is hot and sticky here today but I'm not complaining  as we really haven't had much of a summer yet and I will take this over cold and gray any day of the week! Today I have another card I made for yet another friend (my moms friend this time) who is getting a new puppy and have use the TSG Puppy Love set again and again, CAS.

A little copic coloring, some buttons and a little printed paper and all done. I would like to enter this into the TSG challenge that is Anything Goes. 

Fayes sketch

Hello everyone! For todays La-La land crafts inspiration we are using a sketch from my pal Faye. Not only is she a great cardmaker and friend but she can whip up an awesome sketch!  And here it is.

And here is my take on it using Beach Marci and the Lotus flower die.

Papers are sort of a mish mash of leftovers but in one of my fav color combo's, red and yellow with a touch of green. My go to colors that always make me happy. She is colored with copics (listed below) and a touch of chalk pencil for some added shading. This is for my bestest buddy Elaine. I am so very thankful for all of the friends I have made thru this hobby and Elaine is right up there at the top.

I am using another cutie by Cheryl Alger today from her Happy Campers set. I just thought this backpack was so fun!

I embosssed the sentiment (which is included) to make it stand out from the embossed sign, papers are Recollections from Michaels and the butterfly is from etsy. She is colored with copics and a little bit of chalk pencil for shading.

Woohoo! It's Saturday! Of course I am getting ready to go to work, but still, the weekend is here! And today we have a new challenge at Oozak which is to use a "sentiment" on your project. I have to say, sometimes that is one of the most difficult parts for me, I never know where to put it. And on this card I actually stamped it on the green cardstock but didn't care for it so I covered it up with the blue ribbon. My sentiment was a gift from my friend Nicole and I like the size of it, small but still packs a punch.
