Today's Flutterby Wednesday challenge is being sponsored by the digital store Robyns Fetish and our challenge for you this week is to make a "Spring themed" card or project. The image I chose to use is called Waking up Birdie.

I am still working on coloring wood but it isn't too bad. You can only improve with practice right? Some nice spring colors and of course, my butterfly and I am ready to go. Please make sure you use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your project to qualify for any prizes. I also want to thank Danni for being such a wonderful dt leader as this is my last week with the Flutterby Wednesday girls. Wryn eggspecting

Good morning fellow bloggers! Today I am showing off another new Wryn image available today over at Tiddly Inks called Wryn eggspecting.

Is this image not sweet or what? I am so glad Christy keeps making them, I absolutely lope them all. This is some new Bo Bunny paper I got and it just was begging to be used. A new Memory Box die that I embossed with some coppery embossing powder and some gorgeous little crystal like flowers that Susana sent me with my last order. They were the perfect touch although the white ones are a little difficult to see in the photo. Saturday at last! Hope everyone has had a great week and are looking forward to an awesome weekend. Today's post is for the challenge at Kraftin Kimmie's and our hostess this week is Cheryl and she wants us to use two images on our project. She has used the awesome new image Gadget Girl on her card and if you play along and your name gets picked then you get this stamp, for free!

I have used two of the fairy stamps by Annie Rodrigue and tried to use my background paper as the setting for a little forest scene. I made my own pearl flourish by cutting out an acetate flourish then using liquid pearls on it. Not too bad but can use some practice. One tip I forgot, when you are cutting out images this closely, it is always nice to outline them in black marker, makes them look a little more finished. I tried to pull mine off to fix it but they aren't going anywhere now! Also, the Frugal Friday specials are now available so click on the link to see what is on sale, but only til Sunday!

It is a lovely day outside, sun is shining and I can hear some birds chirping. What a great way to start the day! And just as wonderful is a new Wryn image from Tiddly Inks! This is called Wryn with a cherry on top and she is adorable, as they all are though right?

I have colored her with copics and added some rock candy stickles to her cupcake to give the impression of sprinkles on it. Some lace for a little girl and the included sentiment and she is finished. Ok, make sure you hop over to the store cause she is available right now!

Good Morning everyone! Time for another Tiddly Inks Challenge and this time we would like you to use fabric somewhere on your card or item. Now I will say, I struggled a bit with this one. I wanted to do something really neat and original but after 3 different flowers and two different types of fabric I went with a classic fabric yo-yo.

I have used another new image by Christy called Silver playtime and I have once again been inspired by Jen to do a little doodling and keep it CAS. I believe this image is inspired by Christy's new puppy and there are several others in the store if you want to hop over and take a peek. Alright, time to inspire us and show us what you go do with fabric. Also make sure you check out the other girls to get your creative juices flowing!

Flutterby Wednesdays inspiration time

Happy Wednesday everyone! That means it is time for another Flutterby Wednesday challenge and this week we have an inspiration photo and it is gorgeous.

I have used one of my Tiddly Inks images called Fairy Fae.

I went a little crazy, well for me anyways, and gave her pink hair. I colored up some white flowers with my twinkling h2o's so they have a nice shimmer and it is also a nice way to get exactly the color you want. A die cut stem and some liquid pearls on the flowers finishes it off. Alright, time to get inspired but make sure you use a butterfly, angel or fairy on your project, we all gotta follow the rules some of the time ya know!

Guess what I did last night? I made a card cause I wanted to! I haven't done that in awhile and when I came across this challenge Skipping Stones, I knew I wanted to play along. Mostly cause they have this new set of kitty cat stamps that are soooo darn cute!

I have had this gnome set for awhile but have never used it cause the stamps are so tiny. I am use to much larger images but this is a 5x5 card and I think he fits on it really well. I followed the sketch over at Skipping Stones and I think he came out really cute. I whipped this one out pretty quickly due to the small image, only took me about an hour from start to finish. Ok, shower time then off to work!

This is Coffee Crusader but for me she is more of a tea kinda girl as I don't drink coffee. I am loving this card! It is actually a little more bright irl but I have been fiddling with my lights when taking pictures and have been getting a lot of shadows lately. I was a little nervous coloring his feathers but am really pleased with how they came out. Oh, and Coco is my friend Joan's bird, he doesn't really like me but this is for him anyways! Good Morning everyone! I have another Tiddly Inks card for you this morning with, guess what, another new Wryn image! I swear everytime I visit someone's blog I see her and I am not surprised, she is so adorable! The new image I have used is called Spring Bling and she is available in the store now.

I have to tell you, I love this card! You know how sometimes it just all works out? Well it is Tuesday and that means a new challenge over at the Tiddly Inks site. And this time our challenge is one of my fav's, "Sparkle"! I used some new papers with one of my fav color combos, black, pink and lime green and there is already some sparkle on the papers plus of course I had to add my own bling!

Well, seeing as how it is still winter I thought maybe everyone would like to have a little taste of some tropical weather so I made a couple of cards with that in mind.

I am not much of a drinker so not sure what type of alcoholic beverages these are but the colors worked for me. I added some glitter to the edges of both images using tearific tape and the fabulous glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle. The instructions for both cards are available in the gallery. Hope these made you feel a little warmer!

Pearls and Pins and Annie Rodrigue!

Whew, what a title! Time for another kraftin kimmie challenge and this time Sandie is requesting that we use pearls and pins on our card. Well, I had great plans for this challenge but alas, time got away from me and it is much simpler than what I had planned.

I have used Arianna and my plan was to have little pearl bubbles around her but things don't always work out as planned but I still like her! I think she has a little bit of a tropical feel to her which I nice. Also a reminder that next Wednesday, the 15th, Annie Rodrigue is gonna have a live demonstration so make sure you go to livestream at 6pm to tune in! She is gonna demonstrate the stamp designing/making process from beginning to end. Pretty sure if you go to the Kraftin Kimmie's facebook page (I am sure you have already liked it right?!) then you can sign up and there might be some more stuff being given away. Just sayin!

Happy Hump Day my blogging friends! Today is Wednesday which is of course, Flutterby Wednesday time and our challenge this week is based on the word LOVE.

Whew! I started with a nice springtime image from Lili of the Valley and grabbed some violet papers and let it roll!

My embellishments are a flower, bow and butterfly, that is how I am seeing it anyways! No red in sight and I always do more than two layers so that was easy for me. Ok, guys, off to work for me, hope your week is going well and make sure you stop by tomorrow for the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog hop.

Uptown girls for a friend

Well, we are moving into Sunday evening and I managed to get several cards done this weekend, one for a friend who is leaving my workplace so this is a good luck card for Karen.

Karen is a girly girl who likes wine and cats so I got the wine and girly part in there! And I finally gave in and cup up a sheet of this paper that I liked so much. Happy Saturday all my blogging friends! What a hectic week this has been. Our computer system at work decided it didn't want to work on Thursday so Friday was spent making calls and trying to enter Thursdays paperwork. Needless to say the day went really fast!

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is simple this week. (do I sound like a spy movie?) Just make a birthday card! We are celebrating Kimmies 41st birthday and in case you didn't see my post yesterday, Kimmie is being very generous and giving us a gift! February challenge at Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hi everyone! If you are looking for my Flutterby Wednesday post it is just beneath this one.

Today marks the beginning of the February challenge for Sparkle N Sprinkle and there is another sketch to follow. I really had to work a bit on this one but am pretty pleased with the results.

I don't know if you can see in the photo but the embossing powder I used is a combination of purple and green and really mixes well with the colors in the card. I made some little flowers from some punches and added pearl centers to them. All in all a bit of an elegant card for me, something that I don't do that often but always nice to step out of our comfort zone. I have chosen to use a Nellie Snellen image this week. She was one I HAD to have and then she got set aside and never used. I love her, I actually love all the Nellie Snellen images so this was an easy card.

I also used a MFT die for the flower with a rhinestone in the center encircled by some stickles, sentiments are by Whimsy and the papers are Echo Park. I have to say I am really pleased with this card and by now it should be in the hands of my buddy Renae for her birthday. Happy Valentines Day!

Yes, I am quite aware that Valentines Day isn't until the 14th but that is what we are celebrating today at Tiddly Inks. I have used another Pixie and this one is called Dandylion Pixie.

I used some Flower soft on the dandylion to give it that fluffy texture, I just mixed a bunch of colors together, some pinks, yellows and white. Not wild about her hair, I have about 6 or 7 different browns on it but they are just blending into a big blob. Oh well, something to work on. The doodling around the image is something I copied directly from one of my favorite designers, Jen Shults, and this is the link to the card that inspired the doodling. Doesn't it just amaze you something so simple adds so much? Alright, time to get all lovey-dovey and make up a Valentines card for either your sweetheart or maybe just someone who would enjoy a little love. And remember, you now have TWO weeks to play along so no excuses!

So our challenge this week is to make your own embellishments. Well, I was trying to think of something different so I tried a new technique for me, quilling.

I'm not sure why my photo looks so crummy so I apologize now. Anyways, I cut out a heart with a spellbinders die and then just curled some small strips of paper and glued them down to fill up the empty space. I am pretty pleased with it I have to say! Alright everyone, let's see your truly creative side now and show us some handmade embellies! Hi everyone! It is Flutterby Wednesday time again and this time we would like you to use embossing on your card. I love the look of embossing, both heat and dry embossing but decided to pull out my underused embossing folders and play with them a bit this week.

I have used one of the Puddle jumper images from By Lori Designs and some random pieces of paper I had so I can't tell you who they are by. I made some felt rolled roses and added some stickles around the embossed paper I used behind my image. A Jenny Bowlin vellum butterfly in the corner adds a finishing touch. Alright, make sure you include your angel, butterfly or fairy and embossing to be eligible to enter this weeks challenge!

Have you seen the new Wryn images over at Tiddly Inks? They are so adorable and this one is definitely up there as one of my favorites. Wryn is a nurse too! I am always proud to say that I am a Registered Nurse, I worked hard to become one and I really love helping people so anytime I see a nurse image it pulls at my heartstrings.

This image is actually called Wryn new wings. Now, I could never be anything veterinary related, can't stand it when an animal is injured, but this image is adorable. I kept it pretty simple and am actually entering a challenge which I haven't done in a loooong time! I followed the sketch at Quixotic paperie and am crossing my fingers cause there are lots of goodies there I would like to get my fingers on!

Monday again, boy do these weekends fly! I have another card for Eat Cake Graphics today and this time it is all about the snow.

These images can be found here Snow kids. They are all listed on the same page, I have just linked you to that particular page. I have added some sparkly fluff on the bottom again and some silver diecut snowflakes for them to catch on their tongues. A sentiment, also from Eat Cake Graphics, is placed in the corner and a little plastic flake with a button on top to balance it in the opposite corner. Alright, I am off to face the snow and rain. Yep, couldn't have one or the other, had to get them both!

Thank heavens for Saturdays to keep us sane don't ya think? I enjoy my job but like my weekends a whole lot more! Anyways, another great aspect to Saturdays is it is time for another Kraftin Kimmie challenge and this week we want you to use either the Spotlight technique or just a portion of an image. Now I will tell you, I have never done the Spotlight technique and was going to use a portion of an image but I felt bad cutting off their legs so Spotlight it is!

This image is from the latest release called Kitty Kapers I and chose to spotlight his face along with that cute bandana. I glittered up some musical notes I cut out on my Silhouette and the sentiment is included with the set of 3 images. Now it is your turn to either do some chopping or highlight a portion of an image. Now I stitched on my card but that would be something the kids could do with a marker and make faux stitching. Happy Wednesday people! I think we all know what that means, not only are we half way to the weekend, but it is time for another Flutterby Wednesday and this week is an open challenge. Today I have used an image by Tiddly Inks called Party time Pixies and some patterned paper I used as a main part of my card.

I have added some kraft paper butterflies that I applied gold edging and burgundy stickles too along with a black Viva Decor pearl in the center and a rhinestone flourish for some extra bling. I think the paper was pretty enough that I didn't need to add a bunch of layers and cover it up so that is all I did for embellishments. Color challenge at Tiddly Inks!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Did everyone have fun at the blog hop this past weekend? Aren't the new Wryn images wonderful? Well, today is another challenge for us at Tiddly Inks and it is a color challenge. I have never done a color challenge before but it was pretty simple all things considered.

I had to use another Wryn image and this one is called Wryn New nest.

The sentiment is also from Tiddly Inks but is from the Life and Gothic Quotes sentiment set. The papers are Memory Box and I tried using a corner punch on the edges of the image but not sure I like it. I wanted to do it all the ways around but it would have cut off too much of the image and since I already had it colored I wasn't doing it over! Should have left well enough alone but unfortunately I am sure I haven't learned my lesson yet! Saturday, what a wonderful word! And it is time to show you some awesome new images by Annie Rodrigue. Plus there is a new sketch to follow for our Saturday challenge and I will link it up for you to see at the bottom of the post. The image I have used today is called Thalia. I just love her sentiment, too funny!

I flipped the sketch on its side so she would fit better and used some self adhesive pearls which I thought were a nice accent. I paper pieced her pillows and it doesn't show well but they have a nice sheen to them which gives them a bit of a fabric look. Hi everyone! Today is day two of the January Kraftin Kimmie release and the featured artist today is Emilie Goulet and she has done some wonderful kittie images. Now, I love dogs although I don't have any but I do have two cats and they are spoiled rotten so I totally relate to these images!

I used the glitter on my background panel again and tried the technique of putting colorless blender on a paper towel and laying it on my image after I colored it to add a little texture. The name of this set is Kittie Kapers I and you get 3 images and 3 sentiments. It's new release time for Kraftin Kimmie!

Hi everyone! Today starts the beginning of the new Kraftin Kimmie release and when I say you are gonna love them, I mean it literally! Just you wait and see what we have up our sleeves! Today we are showing the new Lulu images by Cheryl Alger and I chose Tub Lulu. And don't forget that one lucky person who comments on all the blogs will win the new Lulu release! Just sayin!

I just love the way this card came out! And do you see my watermark in the corner? Thanks Jeanne for helping me figure out how to add it on, much appreciated! I am also playing with a new idea, for me anyway, of using glitter on my images. I applied Sticker paper to blue cardstock, ran it thru my nestie and then rubbed rapture blue glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle into it and layered my image over top. I hope you can see the sparkle from it, it adds a really nice touch. How is that for an introduction? Now that is not necessarily how I am feeling as I don't sleep well anymore (no Sinbad, you DON'T need fed at 3am!) but my dad is doing well, I have a good job, a great husband and the BEST blogging friends around so I am a happy camper! But actually the significance of the title is the challenge this week at Flutterby Wednesdays which is to make something "bright" to get us out of our winter doldrums.

I have used Minnie from Tiddly Inks and a one of my favorite color combos which is pink and green plus a little blue to balance it out. She just makes you smile doesn't she? (And if you like her, make sure you come back on Friday to see the new Wryn images Christy just releases and join in on our blog hop!) My butterfly is glittered with multiple colors and some ribbon to finish it off. Now make sure you use a fairy, angel or have a butterfly on your image and join in this week with us!

Good morning everyone! I know it is Monday but still, the sun is shining, my cats are sleeping and there is no snow or ice on my car so I would say it is pretty good! I wanted to make a quick card this weekend to show you one of my Eat Cake Graphics stamps as several of you wrote me and said you weren't familiar with the store.

This is called Sarah pulls Nikki and Otto and I have used pastel colors and a smaller card, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I think it is called and A5 or A7, can't remember which. I have used Twinkling Clouds from Sparkle N Sprinkle for the snow, my favorite stuff for snow as it is so soft with just a little bit of glimmer in it and some chipboard snowflakes. Multi shape challenge

Today is my first post as an "official" Kraftin Kimmie girl and I really like the challenge this week. This time we are wanting you to use at least 3 different shapes on your card, and your base can count as one. I have used Eva on my card.

I have snowflakes, rectangles, a circle and a square on my card so I think I am good! I only wish I looked half that good shoveling snow. Me, I probably look more like the Pillsbury dough boy. Well guys, this month has certainly had its ups and downs and we are only into the first week still! Luckily, and thanks to everyone for their prayers and comments about my dad by the way, he is doing very well and is home pestering my mom. Now if my mom doesn't kill him we will all be good.

But the reason for my post this morning is that I was asked by Holly from Eat Cake Graphics to be on her design team and I am so happy to have been able to accept! I ADORE her stamps and if you like whimsical and just darn outright funny images then you need to hop over to the store and check them out. I hope to get a card up for you this weekend so you can see what I am talking about, ADORABLE! When my mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas last year I just handed her a list from the store and told her to go crazy.

This is another simple card for me but this image was so easy to color, the hardest part was deciding what color to make the flowers! I punched across the bottom of the panel and added some green cardstock underneath to pick up on the grass and some hot fix rhinestones for a little bling. I also added a light layer of stickles to the edge of the main panel but it doesn't really show much. Alright, next on the hop is Leanne and if you get lost you can always bebop on back to the main blog and Danni will get you back on track! Celebration time!

Well, it has been awhile since I posted but my life has been a little busy around here. My dad had a heart attack on Christmas night and thankfully he is doing well but that sort of put a kink in my mojo. But hopefully I am back on track and just in time to show you my latest card for Tiddly Inks.

Our challenge this week is all about "Celebration" and what better to celebrate than the pets in all of our lives. I have two cats, Sinbad and Lucy, and they mean the world to me. This image is called Girls Best Friend and although I don't have a dog I would love to! I have used Basic Grey Picadilly paper, some glitter brads, liquid pearls and my new picot edge die from Cheery Lynn. You will definitely be seeing a lot more of it! Ok everyone, I have some news to share and it is one of the most exciting posts I have ever written. I am officially a Kraftin Kimmie girl! Kimmie picked me to be a guest designer this past spring and then again for December and then as if that wasn't enough, she asked several of the recent guests to stay on as permanent girls. Now, I'm not sure if it is my work or just plain darn luck that I was a guest at this time but I am not questioning it! I have even sent my hubby over to WalMart to get me a couple of new binders for the stamps I received, my last one is full to bursting, just like me! Don't forget the new sneak peeks will start next week and you are gonna love them, trust me, I have the new rubber on my desk as we speak!

Thanks heavens it is Saturday is all I can say! This has been one long and I haven't gotten hardly any crafting done. But I did manage to get my Kraftin Kimmie item done and this week it is all about "tags". Whether you make a tag like I did or make a tag and put the image on a card, we just wanna see them!

This is one of the images I haven't gotten around to inking up (I know, shame on me!) and now I can't find it in the store but her name is Lavinia. I kinda liked the steampunk look to her and that sassy look on her face. She is on a Tim Holtz tag with some decorative paper, the corner of a doily, some silver peel offs and a reflective little word tag for in the corner. Oh, and a flower of course! Good Morning friends! I have a card today that I made just because, well I should say that wasn't for a dt commitment. Stamping Bella has a sketch challenge this week and I finally got a chance to play along and since I just bought several of their "Uptown Girl" images I thought I would take advantage.

These are some older Basic Grey papers, some sheer shimmery ribbon and of course, glamour dust on her dress and shoes. Wish I had legs like this girl! Some red spica pen for the berries on the mistletoe and voila! One of my only Christmas cards this year! All right, time for me to get outta here and get to work. Hope you all have a great day!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...

Well unfortunately, no white Christmas yet but at least the rain seems to have passed because the past few days have been cold but sunny. But the challenge this week at Tiddly Inks is "White Christmas". I have used the hysterical image called Minnie's Christmas lights.

I glittered up some poinsettias and used glossy accents on her string of bulbs and her glasses for a little extra texture. Some Viva Decor white pearls on the spellbinders die and a shimmery silver snowflake and she is ready, as soon as she gets untangled of course! Okay, let's see what you have to show us and after this challenge the design team will get to take a little break to spend the holidays with family and friends. Hopefully you have arrived here from the awesome Nicole's blog. Isn't she amazing? I have used another image by Cheryl Alger today, Girl with Flowerpot. Do you know how many different flowers I tried putting on here? I made two different felt flowers, 3 different paper flowers and 3 different crochet flowers and I didn't like any of them. I finally settled on the flowers I had from the wedding section at the local craft store.

I have also used some clear gems in each corner, I just got a 1 lb bucket of them so you might see them a lot! There is some beige shading around the image but I always have the most difficult time getting it to show. Alright, next on the list is the lovely Krista. And if you get lost you can always start back at the beginning where Kimmie has a list of everyone participating.

Well my card is anyways! Today is the premiere of the new Moonlight Whispers images for Kraftin Kimmie by the talented Annie Rodrigue and if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland you are in for a treat! And today marks the beginning of another challenge at the challenge blog which is a sketch so make sure you hop over to check it out.

My image comes with two sentiments and where I work I think this would be an appropriate card for anyone on my team! I have used a flourish that I rubbed with Viva Decor inka gold in purple and some lime green for the accents. Happy Over the Hump Day my blogging friends! It is starting to cool down a bit in my neck of the woods and although I don't normally say this, I would like a little snow to bring on the Christmas spirit. Just a bit for the next few weeks and then directly into spring would be great! Anyways, over at Flutterby Wednesdays we have an anything goes challenge and... it lasts until the end of the month! My image is from Sassy Cheryls and I just love her attitude! I have used some super sparkly silver paper for across each corner and also cut out some mini stars for on the background. Now I will confess I had to do my card this evening and so I am not thrilled with the sentiment. Oh la la! at Tiddly Inks

Wow, I can hardly believe we are already into the second week of December! Time sure does fly doesn't it? Today's post is for Tiddly Inks and our challenge this week is "Oh la la" or "heat things up". Christy has lots of images that would fit either one of these and I chose Heartbroke Happy to color up.

Paper is by Bo Bunny and the sentiment is computer generated. I have been downloading some free fonts lately and playing with them a bit. I tried to color her skirt to look transparent but just wasn't happy with it so I put a layer of stickles on it plus brushed some on the cut out heart for a little bling. Some glossy accents on the heart and she is ready to rock someones world! Now it is your turn to play along for a chance to win some free digis. Well in case you didn't know, I was invited to be a guest dt member for the month of December. You have NO IDEA how excited I was when I got Kimmie's email! And our challenge this week at Kraftin Kimmies is to use embossing, either heat embossing or dry or both if you choose!

I have used one of Kimmies Christmas release stamps called Felicity and I apologize because she does have a halo but I am not sure where exactly it is. But she is still pretty don't ya think? I have heat embossed the edges of the dp with gold powder and the paper directly behind the image is dry embossed and then rubbed with some distress ink to bring out the dimension a bit. Her dress did not want to cooperate with me and on the original image the ink ran (note to self, you do not need to saturate the image with smooch ink to get it to glimmer) so I stamped a gold design on some white paper and paper pieced it although it is really hard to see in the photo. Alright, time to get your embossing tools out and if you win you get the stamp Diana has used this week on her card which is the lovely Takara! And Kimmie's Frugal Fridays specials are available now too. On sale this week are Mr Punkinhead, Rudy the Reindeer, Billy Blyth, Speedy the Turtle, Roxy and You are a Treat!

My image is a new release from Tickled Pink and although you can't see it her wings are stickled to within an inch of their lives. I have used that fabulous new Bo Bunny paper I got and some silver embossing for the snowflakes and the medallion around the sentiment. Well Elaine, I told you I was gonna so here it is. This is a card I made using the sketch over at the Sugar Bowl challenge and am also going to enter it into the Ribbon Girl challenge which is to use pink and white on your card. This card is for my Grandmothers birthday and the stamp is a gift from my bestest buddy Elaine "Dawg" Livesey (personal joke).

The papers are Authentique and the lace ribbon roses are from Hobby Lobby. I have stickled up her wings and the little circles on her dress and the butterfly is again cut by my silhouette machine. I have heat embossed it with powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Okay, that is it for me today. Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I hope everyone has had a great weekend, a lovely Thanksgiving and not too exhausted from fighting all those shoppers for some great deals! I DO NOT go out and fight the crowds, there is nothing I want/need that badly to make me go and do that. Anyways, our challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to make an item with the theme "Winter Wonderland". And our sponsor is the great Michelles's Scrapbooking.

I have used Autumn Marci for my tag and some xmas papers by K and Company. There is some white and clear glitter on some of the edges to add to the snow look and some snowflakes cut out on my silhouette machine with some glitter dots and a big brad added for some texture and bling. Happy Tuesday everyone! Two more days until Thanksgiving, I can hardly believe it. Friday I will spend putting up Christmas decorations, no way am I fighting crowds to go shopping! Simon Says Stamp challenge at Paper Sundaes

Good morning all my blogging friends! This week at Paper Sundaes we are being sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp and the challenge this week is Beautiful Bows. Now I will occasionally put a bow on my card but the only way I get them to look nice is to use this little gadget I saw on Becca's blog called a peg bow maker. It is so simple and I grab it everytime I need to make one. Yes, I have the bow easy but I don't really care for it (Patty do you want it?) but the peg bow maker is awesome! Anyways, I have used a cute Christmas image by CC Designs called Reindeer Lights.

I have to say I reallllly like this card and I have already had one of my friends take it from me! Might have to make me another one! I have colored him with copics with some prismacolor pencils to deepen the shading a bit. The bow is actually attached to the bottom ribbon with glue so it would lie down sideways. He has some glossy accents on his nose and all of the lights and some bling with the snowflake. Of course I would love to play along! I love butterflies, angels and fairies and enjoy being able to actually ink up some of the few, errrr hundred, stamps I have sitting in my craft room. The image I used today is from the etsy shop of Saturated Canary aka Krista Smith. Now I have to say I avoided these images cause I am just not a cankle kind of girl but those eyes really drew me in.

Hi everyone! Well this is my first blog hop with the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team and I am telling you, they have really made me step out of my comfort zone! Minimal copic coloring can you believe it? Our blog hop is about different Cultures. You should have arrived here from Linda's blog and if you get lost along the way just hop back to the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog page to pick up where you left off. My first card is more of an elegant theme and although I wouldn't consider it Asian it does have a little bit of that with the doily medallion for the center.

I have inked up only the center of the stamp image to try and make it look like the doilies that are so popular right now. The image is from the Frames and Borders set and I used Antiquities embossing powder on the image and the sentiment which is from the Just for You set. Some designer paper and lace and a simple but elegant card.

My next image is a tag using the same set of stamps, Frames and Borders, but in addition to using the center image again, I also used the flower border along the bottom.

Some more designer paper and paper flowers and you have a little tag to add to gift. The next stop is at Shona's blog and make sure you comment on everyone's blog as there are prizes to be had!

I tell ya guys, I could barely keep this under wraps but a couple of weeks ago Christy from Tiddly Inks emailed me and asked if I would be interested in being on her design team. Wrote me! Not the other way around! I LOOOOVE Tiddly Inks so I didn't hesitate to jump on board. I'm telling you, I was so thrilled to be asked I had to call my hubby at work and tell him. He was happy of course, really had no idea what I was talking about but that is par for the course.

Boy are these weeks going by quickly! Already into November, hard to believe huh? Well, it is time for another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this time we want you to use distressing or non-traditional colors. We are all using the same image this week to show you how versatile a stamp can be and it is called Nikki and Buttercup building a snowman.

This paper I believe is Merrymint by American Crafts and I have used a MS punch for the border then applied some silver drops with my Viva Decor pearl pen. A little sparkly fluff on her collar and some stickles on the edges of the snow and another winter card done! The sentiment is also from Ladybug Crafts if you are interested. I still love to read but listen to books on my ipod more than reading right now due to time constraints. She is the absolute best if you are looking for paper, embellishments etc. I order a bunch of stuff from her, she probably knows my address by heart now! Good morning everyone! If you are looking for my Ladybug Crafts challenge post please scroll down and wear sunglasses cause it is a little bright! I managed to get another card finished up in the nick of time to play along with the All That Scraps Wednesdays challenge which is a sketch they provided.

For some reason the matting looks red but it is more of a bright pink irl. Must be that darn camera cause it couldn't possibly be the operator! Yeah right! I have used a Cheery Lynn doily cut out on the back and some plastic snowflakes topped by bead caps I smashed in my Cuttlebug and a bead brad from WOC on top for the embellishments. Okay, gotta run, almost time to leave for work!

I have used one of the images from Baby baby! on my card today. So cute with all the little bubbles huh? Some paper I have had forever, I think it is DCWV but cut it all up and threw away the cover so I'm not sure. Sundae bar at Paper Sundaes

Good morning everyone! Hopefully you are having a great morning, the weather was beautiful yesterday and I am hoping for more of the same today. Today's challenge at Paper Sundaes is a Sundae bar which includes black, sparkle, distressing and flowers. I used everything except the distressing, just not my cup of tea.

This is a new image from Tiddly Inks called Fall Queen and I have used My Minds Eye paper, cut her out with a nestie and a black bow. I am not thrilled with the fur on her face, her muzzle is too dark but I fiddled for over an hour with it and had already finished the other coloring so perhaps we will just assume she was eating chocolate hmmm? The orange flower is Recollections from Michaels. This will be for one of my best friends whose birthday is this week and she also has two cats. Happy late Thursday everyone! I have had a busy past few days but hopefully things are on a little more even keel for the moment. My card today is for the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge which is to use your favorite stamp. I love allll the stamps she releases and I just received this one titled Toymaker Elf and he is definitely at the top of my list.

I really liked this bright green and red combo, very cheery I thought. I added some bling with the glittered ribbons and some stickles on his cuffs. Outlined everything in black for some punch and a big poinsettia from WOC in the corner. Have a great weekend!

Good morning everyone! Do you play along with Flutterby Wednesday challenges? Well, I try to play along when I can cause I love angels and fairies and everything that includes. Well, a couple of weeks ago Danni asked me if I would be a guest designer. After running into the other room to tell hubby, picking up a cat and giving them a squeeze I calmly wrote her back and said "I would love to!"

So here is my card for the challenge this week which is "Anything goes". Lucky for me huh? This is a Sugar Nellie image and I used Memory Box papers. And do you see that poinsettia? I made her uh huh uh huh. It is a die from my good buddy Elaine. I used viva decor pearl paint in the center and some sparkly brads on my sentiment (again a gift from Elaine, I so owe her bigtime!). Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your weather is beautiful cause we have had gorgeous weather for the past week but unfortunately the weatherman is calling for cooler temps and rain in the near forecast. Blech!

The challenge this week at Ladybug Crafts is to make anything with a tag on it. A single tag, a card with a tag, whatever your little heart desires. Here is my take on the challenge.

I have used Vanity Reindeer with some papers I just got that I am LOVIN! They are by a company called Simple Stories and are new to me. The colors in these collection are so beautiful. A deep red, cream, beige and some green. These are the colors you will find in my house too so they really appealed to me. A little bit of lace, a paper poinsettia that I tried to put pearl drops in the center of but they sort of sank and some little red jewels to finish it off. I think it is kinda cute, don't know what I will do with it but I like it! Ok, time for you to show us what you have got and enter to win a stamp of your choice!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I was selected, chosen and honored to be asked to be a member of the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team! WooHoo! I have loved loved loved their glitters for quite awhile now and always make sure to stop by their booth at the Akron/Canton stamp show and now I get to share all their glittery goodness with you guys! Be sure to check them out cause they have amazing embossing powders and flocking in addition to the glitter. And I am telling you if you want some tape that DOES NOT come off for assembling your cards, their teariffic tape is the best. Totally destroyed my card trying to make some changes but I know when I get it right it isn't falling apart!

Good Morning everyone! While you are reading this I am probably sitting drinking a cup of hot tea and watching the deer walk thru the backyard at our camp. This week is the Autumn Leaf festival so we are spending a couple of days in Clarion to visit our nephews at college and wander around enjoying the sights.

Ok, enough blathering. The challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to use your favorite color combination and we are being sponsored by Letraset. Now I have to say I had a bit of a problem with this challenge cause I don't really have a favorite color combo. I sort of have a favorite of the day or whatever colors suit my mood at the time but I have always loved pink and green so that is what I used.

My image is by LOTV, the silver corners are by WOC and the sentiment is from my friend Elaine. (they stamp really well Elaine!). I embossed a doily background with some silver powder for behind the sentiment, some MS punched snowflakes and some little pearl button snowflakes for in the center of them that I clipped the back off of. For some reason my matting papers look red here but they are a deep rose color to match the dp. Alright, our challenge participation has been great so let's keep the ball rolling!
