For some reason I immediately thought of purple and turquoise for her that was my inspiration. Paper is Utopia by Kaisercraft, flowers from WOC and those leaves I got last year from the Christmas bin at the local craft store. I have used some stickles for behind my sentiment and around the edges of my image, she is colored with copics and that is pretty much it, simple today.
Check out the links below because all these Krafty Girls have gorgeous previews to share, featuring all three of the new images! Then come on back tomorrow for the release and Krafty HOP!!

If I had Three Wishes...

Guess what today is? The premiere of the latest Kraftin Kimmie Klubhouse release, woohoo! And this time it is all about magical, mystical and "Three Wishes". The latest set features 3 images and 6 sentiments and which are only available thru Kraftin Kimmies store.

I have chosen to start with the unicorn image. Some of the other girls have rocked him out in black and pink but I chose to keep him gray and just color his tail and mane with pretty colors.

Papers are by Kaisercraft, flowers by WOC and he is colored up with my copics. The black flourish has been floating around in my embellishment drawer for quite awhile so I pulled him out and stuck it on there too to add a little contrast. Ok, make sure you check out everyones blogs for some wonderful inspiration and come back tomorrow for another preview!

Some new products I love!

Good morning my friends! I wanted to pop on here today not only to show you a card I made but to bring to your attention some new products Susana has in. Now normally, I am content to wait and see what others do with some of the new stuff out there but Susana sent me one of the new Viva Decor 3 D paints to try out and you know what? I have several more on their way to me as we speak! I LOVE this stuff!

Ok, first off is my card and I will point out what I used the paint on.

Ok, my image is one of the new Elisabeth Bell images and this one is called Big Hat Peeker. She is colored with copics, the paper is Echo Park For the Record-Tailored, it is lovely by the way. Lots of pinks, some black and florals. I have used one of Susanas new dies, Classic Timepiece which is the perfect size for a nice accent. It is my first use of the Viva Decor 3D paint. It has such a beautiful shimmer to it, this is two coats just lightly rubbed on with my finger. I have also applied it to the brads in the corner of my image and if you look along the edges of my image I have taken some and just sort of tapped it around the edges. It adds just that little extra touch of glimmer without being to over the top. The flower came in the flower grab bag I picked up. I did pull out the pearl that was there and replaced it with a larger one, just my preference. Ok, when my new paints arrive I am going to post some swatches and color up a few more things so you can see exactly what the colors look like and how well they work. But so far you can see I have colored both paper and metal without a problem. Until next time!

It's okay to Make a Scene!

Well, we made it to the weekend didn't we? And of course you all know that means a new challenge with the Krafty girls! I hope you enjoyed our release last week by the way, weren't they fun?

Anyways, our challenge this week is being hosted by one of the most awesome cardmakers out there, Melanie, and she would like us to "create a scene". I do believe she is using both Hattie and Horace so you will get to choose which image you would like if you participate and win. And please remember to be eligible to win you MUST use a Kraftin Kimmie image.

I have used the oh so sexy Eva and trust me, I do not look even half this good shoveling snow! I have die cut some pine trees and added snow tex to them for some texture and as they are cut out in layers, I popped each one up for some dimension. She is colored with copics and the background is a couple of Memory Box dies, and a corner flourish from SCACD. Ok, time to make a scene and show us what ya got!

She is colored with copics, a MS punch along the border and I have used my new Tombstones spellbinder dies available at SCACD. Too cute to spook!

How about some new Emilie Goulet images today? We have two new collections from her that will be available at Kraftin Kimmies on Sunday and I have used an image from both sets today on my card.

Papers are this years K & Company Halloween, flowers from WOC and an old gravestone border. I have colored my images with copics and used a Cheery Lynn die for the black doily in the background. Glossy accents on the ball beside the gravestone adds a little shine to the card. Ok, gotta run but make sure you check out all the Krafty Girls blogs for some more inspiration and the more comments you leave the more chances you have to win as Kimmie is giving away stamps from both sets to one lucky commenter!

I have colored her with copics, added some diamond stickles to her dress and on the butterflies which are from the Prickley Pear mini butterflies stamp and you can also purchase the matching butterfly dies, all from SCACD. The paper is Glitz Pretty in Pink which is on sale right now too. Ok, I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon and a great weekend!

Lulu ladybug is in the house!

Day two of the new Kraftin Kimmie previews and today we are showcasing the newest Lulu images from Cheryl Alger. The set comes with 3 different images and several sentiments to mix and match as you please. I have chosen to use Lulu ladybug on my card today.

I have also used one of the new Trinkets being released this week on my card, are those spiders cute or what? She is cut out with a spellbinder oval and layered onto a lacey oval in black. I love using black for my matting, it really makes everything pop. She is colored with copics and I have added a white highlight with a white gel pen. Papers are a combo of stash and MME On the Bright side (on sale at SCACD right now). Ok, hope you enjoy my card and make sure to hop around to all  of the Krafty girls and comment to be eligible for a chance to win some of the new lulu images and come back tomorrow for our Emilie Rodrigue previews!

Another month is flying by and it is time for the Halloween previews from Kraftin Kimmie stamps to start. Todays post from myself and all the Krafty girls are showcasing the new Trinket sentiments. The Krafty Girls and I have been waiting for this release ALL YEAR!!! It's time for our August release and if you're a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps fan, you know what that means!!! It's time for HALLOWEEN!!!!! We are kicking off the *New* AUGUST Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to another new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….HALLOWEEN TRINKETS!!! These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the HALLOWEEN Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations but they are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! Can't you just see these hanging from your spooky treat bags!!!?! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber. And we've got more amazing Trinket stamps coming your way over the next couple of months!!

I have used an older image called Witchypoo which Kimmie is getting back in stock as we speak. I stamped the Trinket with versamark ink in black and then added some Memento ink to make it pop. My haunted house is cut out with my silhouette and I have added stickles around the windows and on the roofs. Alright, make sure you check out all of the krafty girls posts and if you comment on all of them you are in the running to win a set of the new trinkets! How easy is that?

Sassy Cheryl challenge

Monday evening and it is a beautiful day. My dad's health seems to be improving, he has been in the hospital very ill for the past week but today he appears to have turned a corner. So for all of my friends out there thinking of him your thoughts and prayers have been greatly appreciated.

I got another chance to play just for fun over the weekend and decided to use one of my Sassy Cheryl images and this one is called Count Dracula, Noah

I love the  orange, purple, black and green combo you can get away with for Halloween and they suit him perfectly. Papers are K & Company from last year I believe and the black glitter scrolls I have had stuck in a drawer for a couple of years. The rhinestones actually remind me of eyes, I might pull them off and put googly eyes there instead. The spider images are from a MS Halloween stamp set. Ok, short but sweet. I meant to enter this into the challenge this week at Sassy Cheryls but I see I am too late. Oh well, he is still cute!

Pretty flower girl card

Saturday evening and it feels a little like fall at my home. It has been cool and overcast all day, had to pull out the sweatpants even. Today I made up a card with one of the newly released Elisabeth Bell images at SCACD from the Sampler 7 set and she is called Little Susan.

She is colored with copics and Shinhan Touch Twin markers, papers are Bo Bunny vintage double dots and MME The Sweetest thing-Lavender. The sentiment is one of the new Thankful Trinkets from Kraftin Kimmies. I have used liquid pearls in rouge for the center of my butterflies. I would like to enter this into the Cupcake Craft Challenge which is to use bunting. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

It's all about the animals

Saturday thank heavens! And also time for a new challenge at Kraftin Kimmies  and this week our hostess with the mostess is Angie and she wants us to use an animal or insect on our card, no people this time! And Kimmie is being extra generous and is giving away the entire Lots of Love 2 set to one lucky participant. Well, luckily for me I had this Stanley the Snail image I had never inked up and with summer starting to wrap up I thought this was a good time to get him inky.

I just got these papers from SCACD and they are Echo Park Paradise Beach and 25% off currently. I have used Spellbinders dies to cut out the background with an Spellbinders oval for the main image and some diamond stickles around the edges which is my go to color. The clear with the iridescence makes everything look pretty and of course with every color. He is colored with a combination of copics and Shinhan touch twin markers and an orange flower from my stash in the corner for a little more pop of color. Ok, make sure to play along cause whatever for you chance to win just please make sure you use a  Kraftin Kimmie image to be eligible.

Sugar Nellie Challenge

Ahhh almost to Friday! Isn't it sad to look forward to the weekends so much? I am trying to be busier in the evenings though instead of playing on the computer most evenings and I whipped up this card pretty quickly tonite. This is SweetPea but I cannot locate her on the website currently.

There is also a color challenge on the Sugar Nellie facebook image so I am entering both challenges with this card. The lovely butterfly I have used is from Kays Kreative Korner, the sentiment is from Whimsy and the paper is MME The Sweetest Thing Honey from SCACD and is on sale right now. She is cut out with Labels 24 also from SCACD and 30% off if you hurry.

SCACD Spooky Halloween card!

Thursday morning and I have my first Halloween (but not my last!) card to show you today. I have used several products from SCACD plus she has just added a bunch of new stuff also so get your little pieces of plastic ready before you check her out!

This card is using the new MME Lost and found Halloween, which is also on sale, and several images from the coordinating stamp set. Can you see how crisp these images are? I stamped them with Versafine onyx black ink which is what I always use for my sentiments because it creates such great detail.

I have also used the new Tombstones spellbinders die and a rhinestone flourish for an accent. Susana doesn't have this particular one in stock but she has some others here that would do the trick nicely. A little black lace and all my images edged with vintage photo distress ink. Halloween will be here before we know it so best to get crafty now and with stuff on sale at SCACD now is the time to stock up!

Victorian Christmas from SCACD

Good Morning everyone! I hope you have been enjoying the latest release from SCACD and today I have another card that I made up, using not only the new All Bundled Up image by Elisabeth Bell but some of the new Teresa Collins products Susana has in stock now. She just reminded me of a little girl from the Victorian times so that is the look I went with.

I have combined her with the Christmas Cottage paper pad and made my flowers from the matching washi tape. I just placed several strips on some kraft cardstock and then cut them out with a flower die and layered them up with a brad in the center. I added some stickles to the centers also to give them a little bling. The tag is from the coordinating Christmas Cottage stamp set along with the stars I stamped around the image and the sentiment I used on the inside which is shown below.

Make sure you check back later in the week as I have some Halloween stuff in the works too!

Mo Manning flower pot girl

Happy Sunday afternoon! Not sure if that is an oxymoron or not! I was a busy beaver this weekend and got several cards made up, if you come back Tuesday I will have a cute little victorian xmas image for you to see but today is all about gardening and the outdoors. I have used several Mo Manning images lately in the hopes of being a guest designer for her (no word on that so thinking maybe not this time) but it made me remember why I have so many of her images, they are just darn adorable!

I have used Sprout and have colored her up with copics. Papers are A Mothers Love by MME which I purchased from SCACD, she has all the latest papers and these are on sale right now too. The sentiment is one of the new Thank You Trinkets from Kraftin Kimmie and I have colored it with Morocco Memento Ink, it matches better irl than in the photo, trust me.

I would also like to enter this into the new DP2 Challenge which is "Anything Goes".

Next we have a set of 4 adorable little girls with their FUN hats that make up Sampler #6. Each little girl is bound to make you smile and melt your heart.
Our final set, Sampler #7, is a variety of cute and fun! These 4 little girls remind us all of the simple pleasures of childhood from lollipop dreams to playing in the rain.
So catch up on the SCACD Store blog if you lose your way thru the hop becuase you will want to catch all the inspiration out there :)  You can also find all the new stamps available here.

I am the second link on the blog hop today, you should have arrived here from Danni and her previews. I am showcasing two images today, the first one is Party Hat.

I have used some odds and ends of paper but these colors are similar to the new MME Tangerine if you want to go with this color scheme. She is colored with a variety of copics and Shinhan Touch Twin markers. I have used glossy accents on the balloon for some shine and gorgeous Make it Crafty chipboard corners to finish off the top of the image. Lace is from my stash. The butterfly is by Prima and these ones are different paper but equally as pretty! And of course my beloved stickles to add a little bling to the edge of her dress.

My second image is called The Secret.

Same color scheme as above and again colored with both copics and Shinhan Touch Twin markers. My little flower centers are paper and a gift from my friend Elaine, I added white dots with an American Craft white gel pen for some extra pizzazz. Ok, that's it for me today, next on the blog hop is Dianne. Happy hopping! Oh, and if you are international, you can also get these stamps from Elaine at Quixotic Paperie
